Recap of 2024
Many firsts and many new titles all around!
Starting with Odin of course:
First major win, OH group 3, OH group 4, CA title, CAA title, FCAT title, FCAT2 title, CGCA title, CGCU title, and more international titles. Ended the year now with 16 AKC championship points and one 3 point major. Only needs 1 more major to finish his championship, needs 11 more runs towards his CAX title, and is getting closer to achieving all international championship titles!
Next with Ori:
4 majors in a row, UKC championship, AKC championship, international championship, 1 champion defeat, 2 points towards GCH, first OH group placement, 3 UKC group placements, many IABCA group placements including 2 group 1's, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, tried fastcat for the first time and now has her FCAT title, tried CAT for the first time and now has her CAA title, tried a rally trial for the first time and now has her first RN leg, tried Fetch for the first time amd earned her intermediate title in one weekend, and earned her novice and intermediate trick titles. She only needs 2 more legs for her RN title and still has a little ways to go until she earns her GCH. It was a very successful year for Ori as she put titles on both ends of her name and is still growing!
Next year I plan to get Odin's championship and maybe start doing agility and scentwork with him finally. That way he can do something he loves doing. I plan on going for Ori's GCH and hopefully get her back up in the rankings for breed and NOHS. I also plan to get her RN title and possibly intermediate. Hopefully will get to plan her first litter as well 👀 next year we plan to mostly just go with the flow and may not be as active in shows and sports. Who knows though lol just gonna play it by ear
2023 was a great year for Ragnarok Kooikers! Odin got his first OH group placement, various group placements in IABCA and UKC, sired his first litter, became the first kooiker to compete and title in weightpull competitions, got numerous titles added to both ends of his name, became a UKC Champion, was recognized for being the top kooiker for trick dog in 2022 at the national specialty this year, and passed all health tests getting his CHIC number! We also welcomed Ori to the family as our potential foundation b*tch 👀 Ori has proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring by getting various group placements in IABCA and got a Group placement in BPUP at her very first one, got her first AKC point towards her championship title at 8 months old, and got her first few international championship titles. I am really looking forward to what 2024 will bring us next!
