Hey fishy friends,

We have some friends in need. Romeo and Christina have been coming to the store for quite a while now, and we've come to know them as extraordinarily kind and thoughtful people.

Romeo and Christina had a devastating house fire last weekend. Luckily their family is safe, but they have lost everything. We can't begin to imagine what a difficult experience this must be. If you are able to help in any way, please donate below. You can also find a list of clothing and shoe sizes for them as well as their two boys through the link. There's a drop off location, but if it's easier or closer to drop off donations at the store I can take them over.

I know we have a great community, please feel free to further share this link so we can come together to help them get back on their feet.

Welcome to GUESS THAT FISH, the show where I post a zoomed in picture of a fish and you tell me which fish it is. First to guess gets a high five next time you're in the store. A really good high five, the kind that only comes from a hand damp with fish water. High five redeemable from Alyssa only, Dale has no knowledge of this impromptu competition.

Speaking of competitions, we are a go for an aquascaping contest, details will be coming after the holidays. Don't worry- we will make sure everyone has time to prepare!

We have a ton of Electric Blue Acaras right now! They're are colorful, healthy juveniles, around 2-3" at the moment. Make a plan to come see us soon, we are open Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 6pm 😀
