My breeding pair is a buck from Loupe Bunny Barn, and he is a Blue Chinchilla French Lop. Our doe is from Autumn Dawn Bunny Barn and she is a Broken Blue French Lop. They are both from clean lines and pedigreed. Bugsy is 7 months old as of 11/13/2021, and Lola is 6 months old as of 11/14/2021. If we can keep them apart, they’ll kindle right around Valentine’s Day and hopefully, our first litter will be healthy and come mid March. I will be studying French lop kit private areas to aid in successful identification of does and bucks. I will post the litter and update with photos frequently. Once I can identify their colors, and s*x, I will accept 50% non refundable deposits to hold a kit, and at 8 weeks old, they can go to their furever home. Fingers crossed my first batch will be ready to go mid May… sooner if Bugsy (who I maybe should have named Houdini) has anything to say about it.
I fell in love with the breed and after having to travel 5 hours into Louisiana to get one, I opted to get two that aren’t kin, from different barns, so I could bring them to this area. They have wonderful temperaments and are amazing with children.
Share and like this page to get the word out. It’s my first page and brand new, it’ll look more like a page as time goes by.
I would love to get more French lops into this area, so if you have a doe and need a stud, Bugsy would be happy to offer his services, for pick of the litter or a stud fee.
If you have a French lop that you can’t give enough attention to, bring them to me.
Our pets are exposed to 5 kids, ranging in ages 5-17 and are far less skittish than their pet store relatives. We have 16 Guinea Pigs and 2 French Lop rabbits, and a goldfish. The lops live indoors, and both have hutches, but spend 18 hours a day free roaming with supervision indoors.
We are only breeding the French lops, but we do have 6 male Guinea pigs, in the event that you have a female of breeding age and wish to breed Guinea pigs. Our 3 litters were not intentional. My ”Boo” was too cute to not take home and had been misidentified and sold in a pet store that was only supposed to carry females. He managed to sire 3 litters with 3 of our 4 females, before we realized he was a boy. He now lives with his 5 sons, partitioned off from his sister wives and daughters.
Stay tuned for updates and welcome to my page.
