Couple weeks ago, I got the opportunity to hangout with some pups at 🐾 It was so much fun getting to love on and play with some of their adoptable pups.

Socialization with people and getting some time out of the kennels helps these pups learn to interact with people and relieving some stress. This is also a great way to earn volunteer hours if anyone is looking for fun volunteer opportunities😉

If you’re looking to adopt, there are tons of cuties available through Escambia County Animal Shelter as well as the Pensacola Humane Society and local rescues. Check those adoptable four legged babies out🐶

Wooftografie has been selected as the official 2024 photographer for the Emerald Coast & we will be taking applications for Limited Edition Tails of the World: Emerald Coast photoshoots. 📸

These photoshoots will take place in the heart of Pensacola and neighboring areas, capturing something unique about the city. 100% of these session fees are donated to a charity (to be announced soon) and one photo from each session is guaranteed to be included in the book!
You’ll also have the opportunity to view and purchase keepsake photographic artwork from your unique doggy photoshoot.

I only have ten photoshoots available to fill my pages in the book, so I’m looking for ten awesome doggos to be my woof models. All dogs are welcome!

Applications will be open on my website starting May 6th.

We’ve been MIA for a while but we’re back✨

I love taking my pups out to playgrounds! This is a great way to build confidence in exploring new locations and climbing and walking on different surfaces. But always be mindful of others❤️

Everyone, meet Barbie Girl from ! I had the honor of hanging out with her while on vacation and we had a blast. Barbie is basically perfect so she didn’t need any help with training😉 but we were able to enjoy a walk, some cuddles, and even a pup cup from during her outing.
As much as I would have loved to keep Barbie, we have a full house. So instead, we got to enjoy for a few hours to give her some extra one on one time and relax out of a kennel environment. These outings are a great way to help with the rescue community if you aren’t able to adopt or donate❤️

With positive reinforcement training, we reward behaviors from our dogs that we like seeing. Typically treats are used as a reinforcement or reward but you can use other sources of reinforcement too!
Tarot here for example, LOVES to play fetch! This is a great alternative to treats. You can use other forms of play, affection, and even praise as a form of reinforcement as well!

Here at Calla Canines, we use positive reinforcement methods for training! That could mean rewarding our pups with treats, toys, pets, love, and even verbal praise!

Our favorite treats to use for training is Stella & Chewy’s Wild Weenies! They are freeze dried treats but easy to break apart. They come in tons of different flavors too. As you can see, George LOVES these! What’s your pups favorite treat?
