Good Evening Facebook friends!

Hopefully all of you and your furry friends are safe and warm! Over the last several days we have had 1 staff member and several volunteers taking amazing care of our animals! Thankyou to ❤️Alli for getting there today! She was on a mission to be sure that all was ok at the hotel. 💫🐶😸🐰🐹
Volunteers Monie and Sue
are able to get there too and we all appreciate their dedication !

As far as hours for tomorrow we are uncertain…we will determine that in the morning.

Friday we will resume a normal schedule

Good Evening Facebook Friends-

We wanted all of you to know that our quirky 22 year old dog, Sara Bama has gone to the 🌈bridge

22 years ago at Pine Forest Animal Clinic he was handed to me at the door, covered in ticks and having a heat stroke.

He was rushed to emergency care- ivs, cold water bath, emergency medications. Word filtered back that he was a feral dog from the land fill. I looked at him under surgery lights and thought- this is going to get interesting when he wakes up.

He woke up. I held him. He didn’t overreact. He was put in a hospital cage. After recovering, we could not touch him for 2 years! We led him around . Sometime after that he was confident and was adopted to a well known Pine Forest Client. All was well for about 3 years. Sadly the man died in his sleep of a cardiac arrest. His wife let Bama out in the fence. And then she couldn’t catch him.

So we went over and scooped him up. The hotel was newly opened! He then decided to call the hotel home!

Bama loved his life! He was often loose there ! He nipped people on the way out - when they weren’t looking. Luckily he had an underbite- so the nips weren’t too bad and the pants were just torn slightly! Some people he chose not to bite (who were his friends) and he kept his word! He nipped my daughter Emily, starting when she was 3 years old so many times - that up until the other day- she would look for him, before coming in! Bama even had the nerve to not spare the man who saved him… Dr.Perrett! He got a good few pairs of pants ripped! Bama was quite the character!😂🥹

As time has gone on- his kidneys failed, he became blind and his quality of life failed as well. He bumbled around an area he knew well.

After 10 failed attempts to do the right thing and have him euthanized
as we all know how hard it is….On Friday I carried him into Dr Camille Wood, as I carried him into Dr. Perrett- that first day. Instead this time it was the last day; he quietly, calmly went to the🌈bridge. He was ready, she was very kind to he and I ❤️

We will all miss that quirky, adventurous little guy, me at the top of the list.His life was truly a miracle 💫🌈🐶💜

Good Evening Facebook friends!

I’m 5 month old Matthew. I survived Hurricane Milton in Tampa. I was the last survivor to get in the hotel that night. And worse I had generalized ringworm. This is not good for a place that has other animals. So … I was sequestered in the vet room for several months.
I purred and was glad to be there and sad too. The staff only touched me wearing gloves. I was in a room that was quiet and alone most of the day.

But now! My life is changing! I’m all better ! My skin is perfect, I’m neutered and my pretty vet I met said I’m perfect!

Only problem is I’m squished in this apartment or actually it’s a cage . I need a home and a family!

Im super sweet! I can take this until my perfect match comes in that front door .. and says… I would like to visit Matthew! I’m by the door so I can watch for you and then my miracle will be complete 💫😸 when we get along!!!

Good Afternoon Facebook friends !!!

We are 8 weeks old now and have completed our quarantine for health! We are going to be medium
sized family dogs! We were left on a lady’s porch in the cold 2 1/2 weeks ago

We were infants. We had no mom with us- someone left us on purpose and we were left to die. Since that time things have changed! We came to this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️hotel , brought by a kind Samaritan and went straight to a pretty vet, who we loved to have just met. She did emergency care on us and advised further care and a few days later
we became playful and our health returned!

We are ready to be held and visited!
A fence is required and veterinary records on all pets in the home too!

Come and meet these adorable puppies!! It will be a great start to the new year!💫🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

Meet 8 weeks old brothers Teddy Bear and Black Bear! They have completed their quarantine for health! Dr. Perrett will do their outgoing exam tomorrow . They may be visited and reserved with approved application . That includes a fence and veterinary records for all pets in your home as well as recent pets.

What breed are they? We don’t know! They will most likely be wonderful medium size family members!💙💙💫

Read on! All 4 survived! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These are 2 of 4 kittens left to die in
a cold remote location. But another plan was meant to be for these 4 kittens!💫

Several of them were thought to to be blind, calici and herpes virus, emaciated and seemed to be unable to recover…. They were taken to a veterinarian- a miracle worker. She’s kind and an animal lover and her expert judgement ( along with the support of her husband!) …. Said, I will take them home. Let me see what we can do!

So she did. She did perform a miracle. 2 appeared to have one non functioning eye from virus. ( but no more! Look at those eyes!) She isolated them from her cats . She spent several months putting love, attention and veterinary care into them. All 4 ! Survived and are flourishing 🎉
She found homes for 2! And we have 2 handsome 4 1/2 month old brothers at the hotel!

They may be reserved with approved applications! We plan to schedule neuters within the next few days. Warning! Their purring may keep your family awake at night!💙💙🎉

Addendum- we are not naming the hospital that helped with these brothers…. Because the good deed could turn into an overwhelming situation for them. People in the community all have to help! There’s probably 1 rescuer for every💜
100 cats/kittens who need help! Be a hero to the animal you find, have it altered and all else and find a good home! It’s everyone’s responsibility

Good Afternoon Facebook Friends-

We have 5 amazing cats , Pepper and MauMau who have been with us over a year and Lola. six months. They are most patient calm cats who have just accepted this. The hurricane brother and sister survived the hurricane in Tampa , and are loud purring cats who love toys and playing.

Obviously our talking about them and posting them isn’t helping, because interest in them has not happened. Although they are able to socialize in the cat room.. it’s just a room.. not a home.

Is there anyone out there who can come and spend time with them , see their amazing personalities and who has a place in their home and hearts for one of these young cats who have been so patient…..

MauMau is 2 years old black and white and would love a quiet home

Pepper is friendly and a pudgy 4 year and after adjusting- Will be a wonderful family cat

Lola is a golden tabby- 2 years old and a lap cat

The Hurricane male and female are 7 months old and rescued from the storm ( Hurricane Milton) in Tampa

Please Consider these cats… they are all wonderful treasures 😸😸😸😸💫

The lonely Walmart sister has gone home to the best home ever! Mom will be able to take her to work with her as she gets bigger !! And it’s an amazing indoor/ outdoor profession!

This Siamese kitten is 8-10 weeks old! He handsome and photogenic and has come a long way from where he was feral. He is handable in a blanket.

EXPERIENCED cat people need only to apply. He needs someone who knows how to calm a kitten who is like this. He has potential! We don’t know how friendly he we will become. He had 2 very friendly litter mates.

Speaking from personal experience - I got an infant that was left in a box in a flood at the wildlife sanctuary door. As he grew it tuned out after 12 years that things are ok…. He’s happy. Sometimes I think we are living in with a friendly bobcat in our house. His name is Kevin. The point in the story is that we don’t know how this beautiful kitty will act when grown.
It is thought as many of cat experts know , if mom is feral- her kittens are second generation feral. When those kittens breed that is 3rd generation feral and on. As these go on taming them is not possible

This Siamese kitty has gotten much better in attitude in 4 weeks. We are not certain of how he will temperament wise when he is grown.

We also always want to tell you what we know about these little mystery furry friends. 💫😿
