🦷 February is Pet Dental Health Month! 🐾

Want to know what happens during your pet's dental cleaning? 🔍 What's a COHAT? 👀
It stands for Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment - that's just a fancy way of saying "we're going to make your pet's mouth super healthy!"

Here's your behind-the-scenes tour of a pet dental visit! 🎬
✨ Step 1: Safety First!
-Complete physical exam
-Blood work check - this helps determine your pet's internal health. It is important to help us determine our anesthetic protocol amongst many other reasons! 🏥

😴 Step 2: Anesthesia
-Your pet snoozes peacefully while we work
-Our awesome surgery technician monitors everything: Heart rate ❤️, Respiratory Rate 🫁, Blood pressure 📊, Temperature 🌡️, Oxygen levels 💨, ECG 📈

🦷 Step 3: Deep Clean Time!
-Taking dental X-rays to see what's hiding below the gums 📸
-Removing all that yucky plaque and tartar (above and below the gum line)
-Polishing those pearly whites

🔬 Step 4: Doctor Check
Checking EVERY single tooth (just like your dentist!) Our doctor will look for:
-Wiggly or broken teeth
-Signs of infection
-Any unusual spots
-Problems hiding under the gums
