It’s been a minute!! With the warming of the weather, we have been put to work taking care of our bees, making sure they are strong and treated for the honey flow and spring season. We’ve also been putting together orders for nucs, packages, queens, and queen cells!! If you’re needing to re-queen your hive or wanting to grow your apiary, give us a call! Do you know the difference between our Spring Wildflower and Fall Wildflower honeys? Honey is dependent on the blooms during that time of year.
• In the Spring, Gallberry bushes bloom helping the honey get its lighter color and sweeter taste
• During Fall, nature is preparing for winter so honey is naturally nutrient dense giving it its darker color and bolder taste
