Dog Training operates in partnership with Spanish Trail Veterinary Hospital) My name is Cashé and I've always dreamed of working with animals. Growing up, I've had a variety of pets; dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, you name it. 🐶
I am a certified Dog Trainer with a background as a Veterinary Assistant and in Veterinary Administration. I am also certified in Canine Massage Therapy, Cani

ne CPR & First Aid and trained in Veterinary Laser Therapy. 🐾

Before my training, with three dogs of my own, PeeWee (the chihuahua"), Daisy (the Yorkie), and Roman (the Pitbull), I thought I was an expert on dogs (graduated straight from Google University haha). Boy was I WRONG!🤦‍♀️

Whether you just brought home your first puppy or you've had dogs your entire life, come with me, and together we will learn how to grow our love and understanding for our furry best friends. No dog (or human) is too old for new tricks!🤸‍♀️🏆

The front lobby will be CLOSED today from 8am-12pm for renovations! For pre-scheduled drop offs, please go around to the back entrance on Ciudad drive 🐾

Spanish Trail Family,
We have some exciting updates about our renovation!:

Monday, April 8th: The front lobby will be closed from 8 am to 1 pm for our floor and cabinet installation in our exam rooms. We will still be open to do drop off exams, boarding and baths and will have everyone drop off at our back entrance, off of Ciudad.

Thursday, April 18th: The front lobby will be closed for our countertop installation. We will still be seeing appointments as scheduled, but will again, have everyone check in at the back entrance.

Today we celebrate the pup that started it all! Happy 10th Birthday, PeeWee! 🐾🐶💖

PeeWee came in to my life a few weeks after graduating highschool and has been by my side through every milestone since 🐶 He has traveled well over 20,000 miles in his life, including overseas ✈️ And even though he is VERY particular when it comes to choosing friends, he is loved by all who meet him. Happy Birthday to my puppachino-snuggle-nap time lovin baby boy ❤️🐾

As we approach NYE 🎆, don't forget to talk to your trusted veterinarian 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ about ways to help your pup if they tend to get stressed or anxious from the sound of fireworks! 🐾✨ Also make sure that your pets are inside, and secure to avoid anyone straying too far from home 🏠

My training techniques are centered around the "LIMA" approach, which stands for Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive.
Best described by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT)... "In the vast majority of cases, desired behavior change can be affected by focusing on the animal’s environment, physical well-being, and operant and classical interventions such as differential reinforcement of an alternative behavior, desensitization, and counter-conditioning."

Positive Reinforcement is PAW-some! 🐾
