Due to my current health situation I have made the very difficult decision to hang my clippers up. Some of you are aware that I’m dealing with liver disease so with that being said Saturday the 24th will be my last day working from home. I will continue to work at Susie’s on Fairfield for as long and as much and as long as I’m able to. I can’t begin to say how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know you all and your pets. And how much I’m going to miss you all. 💔

I’m happy to announce that I’m now offering small dog boarding! Space is limited to 3 dogs max and all dogs must be spayed/neutered.

This is Sophie (black) and Jack (buff colored). I want to preface this by saying these are not my grooms, I wish they were. You see, they are both part of the Geriatric Gang. In fact Jack celebrated his 17th birthday the day we met! Jack also suffers from dementia which in itself can make certain things a challenge. working alone I have to know when to say when, esp when I feel it’s in the pets best interest. I do the best I can, always keeping your pups safety and well-being first and foremost thru-out the process. 🐶❤️

Starting Saturday October 7 Where the Fur Flies will be closed every other Saturday; essentially the 1st and 3rd Saturday. I do love what I do and hope to be able to continue grooming for years to come but to do so I need to start taking better care of myself and learn to relax more.

I am also slightly changing up appointment times. Starting Monday October 8th my first appointment will be at 7:30 instead of 9. Hopefully this will better accommodate some of my early risers.

Some things that will not be changing is the same wonderful care that your pups currently receive while in my care. 🙂🐶🐾
