We are looking to add an office assistant to support our team. This position answers a multi-line phone, organizes and manages files, performs data base entry and maintenance, creates customer service job requests, and prepares correspondence. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and be able to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude over the phone. Must have the ability to multi-task and keep track of detailed, confidential information.

Responsibilities
Answering multi-line Telephone (primary duty)
Maintain, organize, and manage customer files to keep track of important documents (primary duty)
Sort and distribute communications such as work requests or sales leads in a timely manner
Create and update customer accounts ensuring accuracy of information in our service software and monitoring station software
Assist with creation of proposals, documents, and contracts

Skills
Strong customer service skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of standard office equipment, systems and procedures
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Licenses/Certifications:
Clear and Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card from the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to install, test, troubleshoot, and service electronic security systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems and all related electronic security equipment in residential, commercial and industrial environments and to provide excellent customer service to our clients. Undergo a background check in accordance with the state of IL for our industry.
