The magic of microchips is real. Ginger escaped at a rest stop in Effingham, Illinois a year ago. Her owner searched, had sightings, but they couldn't trap her. The trail went cold. A week ago she was found at a truck stop and brought to PCAPS. Her microchip helped us contact her owner who now lived in Mississippi. Today, Ginger is HOME!!! Thanks to River Kitty Cafe for playing chauffeur!!!!

Good evening, from your friends at Mt. Hawley Animal Clinic!

We'd like to remind you that our boarding availability is getting limited for the week of July 4th. Please be sure to make your boarding reservations as soon as possible, and to let us know if fireworks induce anxiety for your pet(s). Now is also the time to call about getting a prescription/refill for calming medications for your pets that do get firework induced anxiety.

Please keep in mind that the 4th of July is still the day that the most pets go missing on. Have fun, and be safe!
