It is Vet Receptionist week!!!! I just wanted to brag a moment. I have the best 3 receptionists anyone could ask for. They are all three great with animals and people. Personally I feel being a receptionist is the hardest job at the vet. So please help me thank them for all their hard work. Thank you Kaylee, Corina, and Madison!

With broken and heavy hearts we want to let you know that Dr. Charlie Sink passed away early this morning.

He was so many things to so many people. He was a small animal veterinarian, a father, a husband, a friend, a mentor, a grandfather, a brother, just to name a few. He was funny and stubborn, kind and fussy, compassionate and determined. He has a presence that is present without being present.

He would want us all to remember him with a smile. Remember that twinkle in his eye that he got when he was being mischievous. Remember the funny things he said and how he loved us all and loved what he did, more than anything.

Let his memory live on in the small acts of kindness you give to others, the meal you may buy for someone less fortunate, the smile you might pass to a stranger and when you pet your four legged baby, know there is an angel on his shoulder, wearing a stethoscope who goes by the name of Charlie. 💔

A lot of our clients go to Grand Paws for their full service needs but see us as well. I wanted to let everyone know Dr. Sink, the owner, passed away this morning from COVD19. I never actually met him ,but I know he was a very beloved veterinarian. I always heard how wonderful he was. Everything I did hear was so positive that I feel this is a real loss to the community. Stay safe out there.😭

This is RUNT. He is a 14 year old sheltie rat terrier mix in excellent health. He’s had full bloodwork and all his vaccines. He has had excellent dental care. He can see well. He may have issues hearing but I can’t tell for sure. He needs a home. His human had a health problem that made it so she could not care for him any longer. It is hard to tell his personality still because he is inconsolable still after 3 days. He is mentally clear. No dementia. He is really sad and keeps trying to communicate that I should take him back to his hime. 19 pounds but should be 15.
Good with cats, snapped at my dog but she is his twin and understood, so she left him alone and they got along the rest of the night. Lastly, I hear he loves to play ball! ( I tried, he’s still too upset)

A good reminder this time of year!

This is a reminder! The temperatures are rising.

Please do not allow your dogs to walk on the hot concrete or asphalt. If you cannot pick them up and carry them, or provide them with the right fit boots for high temperatures, please leave them home where it's nice and cool.
