Peoria Obedience Training Club POTC offers you and your dog one of the best training facilities in the Midwest. POTC has been devoted to dogs and the people who love them since 1946.

Our volunteer training staff has many years of combined instruction and training experience. Our membership includes AKC judges, veterinarians, vet techs, professional handlers, kennel managers, trainers and groomers. Some of the top Obedience, Agility and Flyball competitors in the country are POTC members. Our instructors can help you with a wide variety of training techniques and can help selec

t the appropriate method for you and your dog. Since POTC is a club with no paid employees, you can be sure your instructors are doing what they love: helping you and your dog. Guests are welcome to come see our classes in action.

SAVE THE DATE - Monday, November 11th 6:30-8:30 pm!

If you have an interest in becoming a Therapy Dog Team we are holding a 2-hour workshop at the POTC. We’ll be focusing on the human requirements (it’s just for you, not your dog), talking about what your dog will need to know, and guiding you through the Alliance of Therapy dog process to become certified. You may register any time through Friday, November 8th at 5 pm. Junior handlers aged 12-17 are also welcome to attend with a parent. This is open to POTC members at no cost and the general public ($10/adult; $5/junior handler). To register contact Julie Robinson: [email protected]

Baby, it's hot outside!!!!! If you are coming to classes this evening, please remember to keep those puppies safe! The temperature on our sidewalk was over 120 degrees at 4pm today. As you can see on the photos, the grass and shaded areas are much cooler. Even cooler yet is our air conditioned training facility! We are looking forward to seeing our amazing new students this evening!!!🐾💗🐾
