Roccos owners described their first and only visit to Petsmart as pure chaos!!
It makes sense when Rocco was terrified of all strange people and animals.
He's still got more confidence training to go, but I'm so proud of how far he has come!

Rocco gets very nervous around anything new or noisy.
He gets to run errands with me and just watch the world go by from the safety of the car.

Mr. Pickles would bark, lunge, and sometimes even ankle bite at anyone in sight just a couple weeks ago.
He's doing so well!!

In case you needed to hear this today… 💚

We know that we say this a lot! BUT it’s SO TRUE! 🙌 When we’re in the thick of it with our dog, when life seems to be piling on the responsibilities, when we get lost in analysis paralysis, we all need to remember to take a step back to “see the forest through the trees”. 🌳🌳 A few unfortunate moments on a walk doesn’t make the ENTIRE walk a failure! 🐾 Maybe the fact that you were able to go out on a walk, that your dog could happily ignore those three other dogs or that one person wouldn’t have been possible a week ago! 🌟 Take a minute to be kinder to yourself and your dog – celebrate the successes! 🐶🎉

It took 5 days of simply building trust for Pickles to be ready to play the training games with me.
The games are not completely new to him, as his people have set the ground work.
His time with me well be spent taking the games and moving them foward in different contexts.

Here for the 3 week Stay and Play to work of general manners and growing the skills of Optimism and Calmness.
His biggest struggles are with polite greetings and being overstimulated by other dogs and people.

He overreacts to humans, other dogs, and many other novel stimuli.
I have met him a few times in his home (while helping with his doggy sister Athena) but we've got a lot of relationship building to do.
