Minneapolis Mounted Patrol Caisson Unit stayed at our stable Friday night. They settled in great, had a good roll, drank lots of water, had baths & got clipped for their early morning grooming, saddling & hitching to es**rt Officer Wallin to the Pequot Lakes high school Saturday morning.
Members of Benvelle Equestrian Center stood along Knotty Pine Road to wave to over 100 law-enforcement vehicles as they headed back to their communities around noon Saturday.

JULY 22nd on the gravel part of Knotty Pine Road (park at Stable or the very end of Knotty Pine Road near the irrigation ponds) as we pay tribute & show respect for fallen officer Jake Wallin, his family & all law enforcement. Feel free to bring yourselves a picnic lunch, stay after and go on a nature walk, throwing branches & clearing trails with us... Please wear black or blue to pay tribute. If you have a 2022 Blue "Farm Family of the Year" BEC shirt, wear that as Jake's grandfather, John Wallin played a HUGE part of the Visser's & BEC receiving the Farm Family of the Year Award last year...
