ISO part time barn help! CHF is looking for another set of hands to help me take care of our fantastic group of boarders. Position entails general barn work for 25 horses, turn in/out, feeding, filling haynets, laundry, general tidying of barn and tackroom, dragging rings, filling water troughs etc, but NO STALL CLEANING. Ideal schedule is 1 full weekday, 1 weekday AM and availability for night check/night turnout 3 nights per week but I am willing to be flexible for a great fit. Horses are well behaved and respectful, boarders are absolutely top notch. Barn cats will give you a harder time than the people will.
Can be a paid position or work for reduced rent on a charming 3br/1.5 bath farmhouse on an adjacent property. I currently do not have availability for a stall but bringing a horse is a possibility in the future.
