I am asking for prayers for our family please. Especially for healing and comfort for Chris, his beautiful sister and his precious mom. His daddy passed away early yesterday morning. We all knew it was coming but it doesn't make it any easier. I ask that you respect our time and space right now while we're all dealing with this. Got lucky enough to run Sister at another race last night in Inola! We had a little ground trouble at third(the ground was great it just got deep at the bottom of the drag) but she is so fun! I'm so thankful for every trip down the alley on this old girl!❤🐴

Had so much fun running Sister at the race yesterday! I think she's enjoying Loca being gone..... We didn't win any money but she sure worked good and I'm pretty sure she had fun too! Crazy girl is 24 this year!

If ya'll only knew what this means to me!❤ Not here to go fast tonight. Not here to win anything or prove anything to anyone. Here to spend time with the horse that has been my rock for 23 years! We've rode un-countable miles, drug hundreds of calves, gathered wild blue mares on the river, she's raised both of my boys and now taught Chris how to ride. She will ALWAYS be my ❤🐴. Another thing we like to do, is make sure everyone has plenty of soft, fresh, fluffy sand when they arrive!(we were literally out there till 10:30pm) We might not be a very BIG operation, however, I like to think that our clients/customers horses do receive the best care possible. And everything here is done out of passion and love for the horses. To us it's more about quality than quantity! Which is why every horse will have great quality hay in front of it 24/7 and clean fresh water at all times and runs will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day! That's why we like being small. The attention to detail. ❤

One of the things we are grateful for here at the ranch are our mare owners and the trust they have in us to take care of their girls while with us. That's why we do everything we can to keep them safe and take the best care of each and every single mare that comes here! Before any outside horse arrives we drench EVERYTHING with Symbiont Ag wash! And we strip and drench EVERYTHING again when they leave!

What a week it's been.....
It started with getting an outside mare for live cover last week. Then Monday morning Chris had to leave for Trenton, MO to do a job for the railroad and was gonna be gone ALL week. Which left me here alone,,, to live cover mares, haul mares to Stillwater Equine Veterinary Services for preg checks(HUGE thank you to that WHOLE crew), morning feedings, evening feedings, putting out hay, scrubbing stock tanks, riding horses, cleaning stalls, all my town running, my daily job off the ranch, and then to top it all off, go on foal watch Monday night because she's bagged, squishy, ph is below 6.2, calcium is over 1000, and she's restless. So I catch myself wondering why the hell do we do this...? Well, when things happen like they did here last night at 11:30pm, I'm instantly reminded of why we do it. Everything went absolutely perfect for this first time momma and we now have a beautiful, healthy little sorrel filly with one white hind sock and a tornado on her forehead. Both mom and baby are doing great! Thank you Christian Tanner Shipley for giving us the opportunity to breed to your wonderful Stallion Mann On Fire! We're really excited about this little girl! Thank you to everyone that checked up on me all week and helped me keep my sanity! Thank you to Maria for being here(not in flip flops) in case I needed help with the breeding😂. Thank you to Dr. Lena Swanson for being on standby in case there were delivery/momma/baby problems(your a rockstar). Thank you to Bentley for being such a kind, gentle, great minded, young Stallion so I could get the mares covered I needed to with no issues. Thank you Chris for missing out on getting stuck with foal watch and just showing up and her having it(you owe me big time)🤬🥰🤣. Thank you to my mom for having such a great mare and letting us breed her. And most importantly,,, thank you LORD for all of the blessings in our lives!🙌🏼 We have her registered name already picked. But as for now,,, we call her Nader.🤣IYKYK.

What was Chris and I doing till after midnight last night, not that you asked....... we were unloading our new(used) vet stock! 🙌🏼 We've been looking for a couple of years for a certain kind and every time we found a set they would be gone before we could get them. So thank you baby for driving all the way to get them and bring them home at a last minutes notice! You are the very best!🥰 Ya'll have no idea how exciting this is for us and how much it means to me!🎉 I'll post better pics later in the daylight🤠
