Billy has been ADOPTED!!

Billie needs a forever home! He was abandoned on our road and has gone unclaimed. He’s 5/6 months old hound mix. He is fully vetted and is as sweet as they come. He’s all puppy right now but so much fun. He’s great with all dogs, cats, and not bothered by horses or cows. He does show interest in chickens but he could be worked with. He’s great in cars and sits well for a bath. He wants to be with you all the time. As you can imagine he gets upset when he’s left alone. Once he gets comfortable he settles down. He deserves better than being dumped. Let us know if you are interested!

We will be at the Walk and Wag! Please note the time and location have been changed due to the weather. We hope to see you there!

Due to inclement weather, our Board of Directors and I have decided to postpone Walk and Wag and move it from tomorrow morning to tomorrow afternoon. Walk and Wag 2024 will now take place at the Humane Society (1710 S. Main Street) and NOT AT KICKER. "Registration" will be at the shelter starting at 2:00. We will have a few vendors set up from 2:00-4:00. If you want to bring your dog especially if they are in a costume so that you can be entered into the costume contest drawing, they will be welcome in front of the building at our welcome table. Personal dogs will not be allowed in the shelter which is for everyone's safety. Unfortunately there will NOT be a Run or a Walk this year. If you are registered, you an pick up your shirt and goody bag at the shelter anytime we are open. We apologize for the inconvenience. And we hope to see some of you at the shelter tomorrow!! Thank you FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

We are sorry we have been so quiet lately! We have had many inquires about new clients. As many of you know we stay very busy. We are blessed in our opinion to have the best and extremely loyal clientele. We do occasionally have openings for new clients. We do our best to get everyone in to the best of our ability, especially those that are referred to us from local vet clinics. Thank you all for being the best around! Here’s a little cutie we groomed recently for everyone’s viewing pleasure.

You couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog than Leo. He needs a family of his own. He has been at the shelter way to long and we all can’t figure out why he keeps getting looked over. Let’s get him a new home soon, Please share!

We have not figured out why Leo is still with us. He has been passed over by all the puppies 🥲 But Leo is just old enough that he doesn’t chew up your house & is crate trained. He loves to play fetch, going on rides, oh and he loves pup cups 😄 . He does have a high energ drive. He loves to go on walks, but ready to relax afterwards. He keeps his kennel very tidy. Leo’s adoption fee has been sponsored, so he’s free to a approved home. He’s around 1 1/2-2 yrs old. Heartworm negative & started on heartworm preventative, UTD on shots & neutered. L.J. Is a approximately 7 yr old neutered male bulldog. He is looking for a new home due to no fault of his own. He would do best in a home with no male dogs. He’s friendly with people and even knows some tricks! We were told his favorite food is peanut butter and Cheetos. We have not groomed this dog before but we are were told he is good for his ears to be cleaned and love attention of any kind! We are looking for a patient and loving home for a special kitty. Her owner passed away and now she is in a loud shelter with a lot of strangers and she is so scared that she doesn't want to eat. We are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable but a shelter is no place for this precious girl. Meet Shelly. We think this scared girl is around 3 years old. She is use to living around cats and dogs. She may be a little shy at first so she will need a loving and patient home that will earn her trust. Shelly is Spayed, Microchipped, Vaccinated and is FELV and FIV Negative. She has been sponsored so she is now free to an Approved Home.
