Another action shot of Quinn. This has got to be from when we were living in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Dr. Flores had just begun practicing, Quinn, Blanca the cat, the kids and I were along for the bumpy ride. He was the best dog ever.

Quinn, best dog in the entire world. He was our first dog for our family. He had been trained for the blind; failed with his assigned partner and gifted to us. He had the best temperament, manners and above all, he had a loving heart. He lived to be about 12 years old. Quinn grew to be a lengend in our family.

This was a very hot day indeed, but the smile on my face tells my happy story. I got to see my old friend and ride, Scout. I think that we both look pretty good for our age. He was and is the best horse ever!

This is my sister’s dog, Abigail. She was a great dog, companion and friend. Pets have a significance to people in many ways. We like to see the love that pets bring to client’s lives and to their families. We are helping them in most cases to end suffering, but the love the pet brought to the owner’s life continues in memories.

Now he only has 5 lives left to live. So he snuck out and of course he was in a territory dispute with the neighbor cat when….no joke… he took a leap into the pool and swam the width of the pool to crawl out with his three good legs and run like ****!
So where is he? He’s out front hiding in a tree, meowing to come in. He is all wet and traumatized, but this cat can dive and swim!

Some 20 years ago we aided in the care of beagle puppies that were rescued from a puppy mill by the Upland Animal Shelter. We took on 12 puppies to examine, care for and to love as the shelter managed to find homes for not only these puppies, but many more that were rescued.

Coco's story-The dog we had as our children grew up had passed away. My youngest daughter wanted a new dog. She pledged that she would care for the dog. And to top it all off, our daughter wanted a pug. I knew that we would not buy a dog and the chances of a pug being available for adoption were slim, so we just waited. One day, the farrier came to shoe my horse and announced he needed Dr. Flores to vaccinate a litter of puppies. Guess what? He had a litter of pug puppies. The day Dr. Flores pulled into the driveway with a pug puppy in his lap, Michelle says was one of the happiest days of her life. This is the day Coco became part of our family. As to whether our daughter took full responsibility of caring for Coco is up for debate. Coco was crazy, fun and a lovable pet for many years. We still miss her today.

Amber's story-Amber was abandoned at our first clinic where she became the hospital's house cat. Amber lounged where ever she wanted as if she were the queen. Amber was never afraid of any client or patient, be it dog or cat! After many years we brought her home to have a home. She grew old with us. Dr. Flores loved Amber and it was mutual. After many years, Amber passed and left us. Everyone still talks of Amber, a brave, noble cat!

Daniel Tiger went outside to have a little fun and returned limping from his 7th life when he almost lost his leg. He doesn't want to go out at all. I think he is afraid. He knows he can't outrun that nasty grey cat that lurks in our yard. Now, our fear is gaining weight and sleeping only to have missed a meal. Poor DT!

Coco was a crazy, not so intelligent dog. Here in this photo she looks dignified and elderly. Fond memories of our second family dog with my children. She was a blessing when she came into our lives. Thank you, Coco Chanel.
