Okay guys! I'm super excited to
announce my very first instructional
video on how I care for my birds when
they have bumblefoot. i sped up and
edited it and it's still like 6 minutes. but
I hope it helps some folks and their
feather babies!

Not knocking anyone else's methods my the way just sharing what I've learned along my journey in an area without an avian vet in case it helps others on their journey.

While our community was not a direct hit from Hurricane Helene and experienced only minimal damage, it is important to acknowledge that many other communities have faced far greater hardships. Areas stretching from Florida's Big Bend region all the way into Tennessee have been severely impacted, leaving countless individuals and their beloved pets in dire circumstances. Many families have been forced to evacuate their homes, seeking refuge from the destruction that has disrupted their lives. Reports indicate that numerous homes have been completely destroyed, while animal shelters have suffered catastrophic flooding, further complicating the rescue and recovery efforts for both pets and their owners.

In light of this situation, we are reaching out to encourage your support as we strive to provide assistance to those affected communities. The Tattoo Gallery of Ocala is hosting a gift card raffle throughout the entire month of October, with the aim of raising funds to help those in need.

Gift card winnings can be used for any services or merchandise at The Tattoo Gallery of Ocala, no cash value.

Meet Loretta! Loretta wasn't abandoned or abused, but instead was taken in by a local friend after she suffered an injury at her previous owner's. She is all healed up now but unfortunately the existing flock never accepted her and she was lonely.

So... she's come to live with us!

I finally pulled up my big girl panties, whipped that anxiety into line, and walked into the sheriff's department to give them the contact info to call us about unclaimed or abandoned/ mistreated livestock.

Went to animal control and gave them my card as well.

I even went into the Chamber of Commerce and left my business cards and got applications for a vendor space at Smoking in the Pines and The Forest Festival too! Time to get some merch made up!

Somebody pinch me because I feel like I might wake up and it will all have been a dream.
