It's official when it snows.... it's winter!π²
While we are bundled up and keeping warm inside remember not all pets have that luxury.
During the winter months cats outside will often seek any warm spot they can find. One of the most troublesome is your car engine. To help keep your cat and other neighborhood cats safe here are a few tips.
-Check under your car.
-Check tire wells.
-Honk your horn or pound on your hood to wake sleeping kitties.
If you have barn cats, consider an insulated building or cat house.
Even bringing them in at night could make a difference.
Signs of frostbite are discoloration of skin, pale, gray, or bluish.
-Pain wen affected areas are touched.
-Swelling of affected area.
-Blisters or skin ulcers.
-Licking or chewing of affected areas.
