Antimicrobial resistance can affect the health of people, animals, and the environment. One Health is an approach that recognizes the health of people, animals, and our shared environment is closely connected.

Our collective actions can reduce the risk of antimicrobial resistance by preventing infections from happening in the first place and improving antibiotic and antifungal prescribing and use.

The shorter days and cooler temperatures can sometimes lead to feelings of sadness or loneliness. If you find yourself feeling down, reach out to friends or family members, join a support group, or talk to a therapist.

Additionally, find ways to relieve stress and express yourself — such as meditation, gardening, journaling, painting or yoga. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.
