This month we’re giving thanks for Rusty, one of cutest little turkeys, and our new dog of the month! Rusty started in preschool and moved up to puppy plus and has been making so much progress. Him and his dad frequently come to class and work hard outside of class as well. Congratulations on making it as November’s dog of the month! 🍁🦃🧡

She graduated from Pup Plus and is moving up into the big girl class.. obedience. 😎 She has made so much improvement on friendly greetings, loose leashing walking, and confidence. Raven loves her momma, people, and has been doing great at puppy agility! Congrats! 💙🧡

Hello, we wanted to formally introduce the owner and trainers here at Zoom Room Toledo.

Hello, my name is Amanda. I have a passion for helping others and believe dogs play a significant role in many people’s lives. Zoom Room is an all positive reinforcement people training company. We are a small family business and locally owned. We help owners build a better relationship with happy dogs. I have 3 dogs of my own. Chelsea (Yorkie mix) age 13, Carlee (German shepherd) age 5, and Maizie (poodle) age 3. My dogs are an important part of my family. I have a masters degree in social work from Wayne State University and I am a Karen Pryor graduate, Karen Pryor Academy, Certified Training Partner. I have been married for 20 years to my husband and have 3 adult children.

Hello, my name is Sam. I am a licensed cosmetologist, head trainer at Zoom Room, Manager, Alliance of Therapy Dog Evaluator, and a Canine Good Citizen evaluator. I have been training dogs since 2021 and have worked with a variety of different breeds. I am passionate about working on trick training and dog reactivity as I have a dog that I have helped work through his reactive behaviors. I love meeting dogs with where they are at and seeing the progress the dogs make one small step at a time and celebrating the small wins! Training dogs may not change the world, but the world will be changed for that one dog. I would be honored to be given the pleasure of helping you and your dog one day at a time. I have three dogs named Baylee a Pekingese Chihuahua mix, Bella the Pomchi, and Pandora an Aussie German shepherd mix.

Hello, my name is Raven! I am the assistant manager here at Zoom Room! I am an advanced trainer at Zoom Room. I hold a Canine Good Citizen evaluator certification as well. I have always had a passion for helping people and dogs. I have always loved making a difference, creating bonds and relationships, and helping people. I became a trainer in 2023 so, I have been training for almost 2 years. Before getting hired (before Zoom Room officially opened) I didn’t know anything about dog training or positive reinforcement and I have learned so much about dog behavior and training since then. It is research proven that Positive Reinforcement is the fastest way to train your dog and I see the remarkable progress and difference everyday. I own two guinea pigs and unfortunately no personal dogs of my own yet! My dream is to get a German Shepherd. However, I work a lot with my grandparents dog, Waylon who I adore like my own! I will be graduating in December from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies.

We have other employees who are working on schooling and who are also working to be trainers!

Good afternoon, DOOM ROOM is doing a 13 day COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN 🧡

For some of the dates, here is what will be going on.

22nd: During classes, you will be playing spooky scary games with obedience, pup plus, and agility.

23rd: Everyone bring your favorite bag of candy as your trainers will too and we’ll share!

24th: The Halloween craft is making a Zoom Room Pawkin patch. You will be creating a pawkin (pumpkin) with your dogs name and we will hang it up at Zoom Room!! Once fall is over, you can take them home!🥰

25th: We’ll have doggy donuts made for everyone this day and you can come decorate your BOO a donut before or after class and if you just want to stop in to do so!

27th: We’ll have some Witch’s brew available all day until it is gone!

28th: We’ll have our first two classes of this evening, but at 6:15 we will watch Beetlejuice as our Halloween movie! We have chairs available, however if you would like to bring your own lawn chair and snacks/drinks you are more than welcome to!

29th: We’ll have a couple kiddie pools full of balls and apples so your dog can bob for apples!

30th: We’ll have some donuts and apple cider all day until it is gone, you are more than welcome to bring your own donuts and cider in.. the more the merrier!

31st: For the class/classes you are signed up for…wear your costumes!!
