With grass a sweet as candy, and as hard on the belly as eating too many jellybeans, we are excited the horses can finally be out for 45 min, twice a day. Adding 15 min every few days, our goal is four hours and then they can just stay out and enjoy. Thanks again to our volunteers for getting us over the muddiest times these past few weeks by hand grazing!

Get moving! Coach Cathy (Fitness with Catherine) in cooperation with Club Pilates is offering livestream classes all week! Find pilates mat, Zumba and even barre (yes, coming soon to a screen near you). Tonight’s class is for the athlete in all of us. She will point out which exercises are best for riders or vaulters. Want a slower paced program ? Thursday 10am is for you. Prefer just to let go and dance - lean to feel the beat ? “See” you Tuesday 10am.

It really IS raining on our parade this morning. Hand grazing horses will have to be on hold while we wait for the flood waters to recede. If you’d like to make an “enrichment” toy at home for our equines, message us for the crafty details!

Sunshine surprised us today! Spring is coming! Grass is greening! Blankets are off! Volunteer adult handlers have been helping with essential tasks of hand grazing on new grass to prevent illness in our equines athletes. Then it’s back to the muddy, rain soaked sacrifice field or the indoor arena while we wait for all the rain and social distancing to end. Stay well!
