To be transparent, it has been really hard for us to face the reality of a recent loss we had.
Mr. Solo Pershing- the ruler of the platform, Sol-E Dol-E Ravoli-EE, THE Solo dolo.
Anyone who loves dogs knows how in tune they are with emotion. Solo took your bad days away so easily. He had a remarkable way of making any pup or human he met feel like they were his best friend. Saying a dog has a contiguous smile may sound silly but boy did he have the biggest one.
Losing solo was very sudden and with how heartbroken it has left us, we cannot imagine how Solo’s wonderful family is feeling. Although Solo's time was cut short, the life he lived was tremendous. We know he loved every minute with his brothers, being Mom’s snuggle bug, and Dad’s shotgun rider. Solo got to go on camping trips and constant play dates with his buddies. He had the perfect amount of treats every day and fell asleep with his brother every night. Solo’s family and friends gave him a beautiful final day where he was surrounded by people that loved him just as much as he loved them.
Solo has been in our mind every day. While we have been struggling with his loss, we believe he has sent every single one of his friends to see us recently. Our yard times seem shorter without having to persuade him to get up from his sunbathing spot. We miss having to offer him every different kind of treat to see which one he will eat before he goes home (even though he always cleans up the extra 3 on the ground he didn't enjoy before). Grasping the fact we won’t feel that big ole hug and kiss every time we were attempting to “quickly” pass through daycare.
We hope you all understand how immensely we love these dogs. After spending years with them, seeing them multiple times a week, they become a huge part of our lives. Your dogs, their personalities and stories travel to places you would never think. Not only is losing your pet losing a part of your family, it is also losing part of ours. We appreciate all of our clients that let us love and care for their pets. Solo will go down in history as a PPLS legend, the best of the good boys, everyone’s favorite dog.
