We are attempting to locate a lost service dog that was last seen in the area of CVPH ER heading towards Cornelia Street in the City of Plattsburgh. This service dog has brindle markings and is a chihuahua/pit bull mix. It is wearing a service vest with a leash that is dark in color with red on it.

When we had issues with our AC during the heat wave, Corey and Jeremy from The Tick Tock Group jumped right into action and helped us out ASAP. We can’t even begin to express our gratitude for our new Air Conditioner unit for our dog room! Thank you for everything and for being such amazing and kind people. 🐾❤️

We would love to introduce you all to Junior! Junior came to Elmore as a stray and we can’t believe no one came forward to claim this sweet boy. Some dogs adjust to shelter life easier than others, and Junior is definitely having a difficult time. We would love to help him find a home where he can feel safe and comfortable. If you are interested in meeting him, please stop by our shelter during our business hours of 12-4 Monday-Sunday.

And just like that, the last 2 dogs have left the Clinton County Jail! We have moved all remaining dogs to the shelter. We want to send our deepest gratitude to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office for working so hard on this case and for being such gracious hosts. Working with them has been an incredible experience and we are proud of the relationships we have built. Thank you as well to our incredible community! Onto the next chapter for these sweet dogs! 🐾❤️
