Wow, check this out! We were thrilled to find these fantastic books donated to our little book nook! Lots of different titles, all in excellent condition. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, you’ll love these stories! Purrfect for an afternoon on the sofa with the kids, hot chocolate in a mug… and a furry feline purring away. Nothing is better!
And it’s a wrap… October may be National Black Cat Awareness Month, but here at Morti’s we treasure our black panthers Every. Single. Day. Considered to be good luck in many places, we feel honored to love and care for all of these magical wonders. https://www.petalumapetpals.org/adopt
Awww, Jay Jay! This is a typical Jay Jay move, reaching out to us humans. Wanting attention. We asked him if this is his weekend to go to his furever home and just maybe you are the answer. He’s friendly. He’s loving. He’s brave. He loves being the center of attention. He wants to be the apple of your eye and the only furry family member in his household. He’s Jay Jay and he would love to celebrate the end of Black Cat Awareness Month in his furever home.https://www.petalumapetpals.org/adopt
No one does Rump Day better than Rocky! Whether he’s coming toward you or walking away, he’s one handsome guy. He’s calm. He’s chill. Roll him onto his back and he’ll just lay there with his little belly exposed. He’s a sweet heart who is roaming the Lounge so come meet him!https://www.petalumapetpals.org/adopt

Oh, Granny Crackers, we’re always so happy to see you! As you know, Granny Crackers is our senior mascot, 20+ years old and still going strong! Every morning as our volunteers arrive to care for the kitties and cats in the Lounge, they’re blessed with Granny’s loud meow calling out a hearty hello as she makes her way outside for her daily walk about. With her little arthritic legs, she’s not a flight risk and is content to feel the sunshine on her face and enjoy a breath of fresh air. She really is a magical gift. 💝

Our mascot, Electric, truly is a show stopper! He’s a wonderful ambassador for all cats and kittens, setting an example of how wonderful and loving they can be. He loves everyone, human and feline. He is just one of the treasures you can meet here at Morti’s.**as our mascot, Electric is not available for adoption.**
Are you planning on stopping in to play with us today? Maybe drop a donation in our jar? Buy a book with all proceeds going to the care of the kitties and cats? Thank you for supporting us, we’ll be open 12 to 6! While you’re here, be sure to say hello to Peabody who is a very handsome, calm adult (up at the top of the tree) and Quinn, a youngster who loves all things kitten! There are going to be so many fantastic cats and kittens arriving at the Morti’s Lounge in the next few months. To help us all “be on the same page” please check out our adoption application and policies found at the below link. **Also, when kittens and cats first arrive at Morti’s, or if they are shy and frighten easily, to make sure there is a smooth transition from quiet foster home to our bustling Lounge, they live in their own private room. In-room visitors will be limited to those who have an approved application and are ready to adopt. **Guests who just want a quick kitty or cat cuddle, are invited to spend time with our free roaming cats. **Please remember our policy that, *generally, kittens need another kitten about their same age in their new home so they can play and continue to learn social manners. And it just so happens we have a few! **There are exceptions to this rule, please inquire about any kittens you may be interested in adopting !https://www.petalumapetpals.org/adopt
Oh the joy of fostering kittens! Currently out in a foster home, these playful little ones will be going to a future spay and neuter clinic and will then be coming into the Lounge available for adoption. When you adopt from Morti’s, you can rest assured that all our felines are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and have been microchipped.
Ooooh, it’s a chatty bunch, have a listen! The Flock of Kittens litter is now flying free in the Lounge! All of our visitors to the Lounge will get to meet Sparrow, Finch, Pigeon and Goose this weekend! Adopting from us is an easy peasy process! Sweetness awaits anyone lucky enough to adopt these two boys! Say hello to Smidge and Sal!
Everyone loves our mascot, Electric! The little one on the left is Vesper. Vesper is an interesting personality. She’s not one to climb onto strangers’ laps, we’ve found her to be dedicated and loyal to the humans she knows best. She’s playful yet gentle. She gets along with all of the cats here, including those that may have spicy personalities. She’s a treasure worth waiting to discover.https://www.petalumapetpals.org/adopt
