What do you do after you put your kids down for bed? I mow, or catch up on chores I didn’t finish out in the barn during the day. It’s a and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! The hustle and bustle of keeping the farm clean, the horses fed and clean and cared for, vet appts, horsehoers, fly protection, dragging the arena and getting ready for riding. I do it all and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Hi All, Im looking for a few volunteers to help me make this program succeed. If you’re interested in any of the above please email me and we talk details.
STALL CLEANER: Mondays and Wednesdays at any time during the day, usually takes an hour.
BARN MAINTENANCE: an hour or two a week for small projects like moving panels or fixing fences, dragging arena, loading manure into dump trailer.
SIDE WALKER: Fridays at 2:30 for 1 hour and Wednesdays at 3:30 for 30 minutes.
LANDSCAPING: as much time as you want to give any day! I do it all alone right now and the weeds are growing faster than my kids 🤣.
DONATION COORDINATOR: Full Stride depends on the community for donations, big and small in order to keep our prices reasonable for our students. I’d like to get more community involvement/awareness by placing donation boxes around town, hosting small fundraisers once a quarter such as paint nights etc and hoping to host a Gala this fall!

Let me introduce myself… I’m Stacey Halvorsen, Founder of Full Stride Therapeutic Riding Center. I have been riding horses my entire life, they are my happy place. Full Stride provides youth and young adults a place to grow, build confidence and be apart of an amazing community. We offer one on one riding instruction that goes beyond therapeutic riding to include an array of equine centered activities and lessons. Participants learn, have fun and gain confidence by riding, caring for, and enjoying time with these animals. I hope that in our sessions you get the same comfort I do from these horses. Come join us!

Meet our newest edition, Timex! Timex was GENEROUSLY donated to the program by and family. He has been her heart horse 18 years as she traveled the United States showing him in the sport of cutting. Timex is a dream to ride, he’s calm, cautious and gives the best kisses. Timex is looking for his annual sponsor to cover the cost of his feed, stable, shoes, grain, vaccines, teeth and most of all his treats!
