Last night with Layla ❤️ We ended a two hour long west side walk at Penny Park 🐾 Petaluma is the best and I love enjoying it with all the doggies I care for.

This is Winston 😍 His mom and dad call him “Frito” because of his stinky corn chip feet, and I genuinely feel seen and heard knowing this. I called my Lewey “Frito Lay” for the same reason. (Go smell your dog’s feet, we aren’t crazy 😂) I am honored to be a part of Winston’s routine now, especially as an influential role in his learning as a young rescue to such a sweet and caring family.

I am feeling super proud of Winston. He has already turned some big corners from his time spent with me and from the dedicated hearts of his wonderful humans. 👏🏻

🐾 Hi! My name is Kristy and with me in this photo is Lewey, a best friend who walked alongside me for 15 years. I missy Lewey, and I miss our walks.

I’ve been a devoted animal lover from day one, born into a house full of pets and to parents who exposed my sister and I to the joy of animals at very young ages. Spending time with animals of all kinds has always felt natural to me, and without them I wouldn’t feel complete.

Having dogs, cats, fish, birds and more as beloved pets throughout my life isn’t where I’ve drawn the line. I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and just as many in doggy day care and obedience environments, 10+ years combined (sometimes handling as many as 30+ dogs all at once!).

With my knowledge, experience and overflowing love for dogs, I am excited to begin something I’ve always wanted to- dog walks and adventures serving the Petaluma area!

I believe that our energetic state as humans is the most influential to a dog's behavior, their confidence and their overall experience among other dogs, people, and all kinds of external stimulation. I take pride in my ability to lead calmly and confidently, which helps greatly in creating clear communication, understanding, walking with more ease, and much more, all allowing the most benefit.

I’ve lived in Petaluma my whole life, and I currently work from home as a professional photographer (of almost 20 years!) while I raise my young animal-loving daughter. I am really looking forward to meeting you and your dogs, and giving back to them the unbelievable love and happiness they give to us. 🐾
