Patches’ litter #2 puppies are 5 months old now and they are growing up so fast! They have adjusted well to their new homes, and I’m so thankful that their humans send me pictures. It truly makes my day! 🐶💙❤️🩷💜💛

Bluey came for a visit this weekend! 💙 His colors are gorgeous, and his genetic traits fascinate me. He even has a tan point developing over his eye!

Bluey has the desirable Farkel face trait. For reference in the 2nd picture Patches grandmother is on the left, her mom on the top right, and her son Bluey is on the bottom right. When Bluey was born, I found his markings to be fascinating and this is what another breeder told me:

It is called a 'half face' when 1 eye is coloured & other side of face & eye white. He really almost has an open face. Now when his ticking comes in & his freckles all show, he's a 'farkel face'. Farkel faces are very popular.

So Bluey is a “Farkel face” and will look similar to his great grandmother!

The puppies were introduced to puppy food today, and they loved it!

Some of my favorite pictures from this week. The puppies have outgrown their newborn collars and are now wearing bigger ones. They were introduced to some new toys, and yellow girl enjoyed falling asleep on the stuffed elephant. We began puppy socialization! And then blue boy figured out how to climb out of bed…😂🐶
