F1standard bernedoodle in Petoskey, MI.
This 'little' fellow-70 pounds and growing-is just over a year old, and is looking for a second chance at family life. He came back to us because of family problems that had nothing to do with him or his behavior. We've had him for a while to check for character flaws, physical problems, etc. He gets an A+ on all fronts (See previous post). He's perfect for anyone looking for a young dog, but without the ordeal of raising a puppy. He's a real charmer; so much so that we're considering keeping him if we don't find the right home soon. "I'm baaaaaaack!
Delphi has been returned to us due to unforeseen family hardship-nothing to do with his behavior. We have kept him 'til now to get him neutered and up to date with the vet, and to check for any issues with his character; we found only that he likes to find weaknesses in the fence! Even then, he does not run off- ideal for off-leash walks. He had a good experience as a therapy dog. He is obedient, playful, sweet, loyal, bright, dog, almost perfect! He loves people, dogs and other animals. We really can't overemphasize how lovely he is.

Having put our covid experience well behind us, we can now get back to business: we have three gorgeous puppies left, 1 male and 2 females. At 5 months, their emotional development is complete, and they are past the puppy biting stage.

These guys are now 3 months old, and they show all of the benefits of staying with mom longer: they are nearly fearless and well-adjusted, much less prone to separation anxiety and the like. Also, they should be past the worst of the puppy biting stage.

Well, I'm a big boy now. So I guess it's time to leave home and go to my forever home. My new dad and mom are Gary and Robin. They're the best!!! I moved on Monday, all the way to W sconsin. They've already spoiled me a bunch. I hope I can make them happy. My new name is Baxter. I'm so lucky!!
