30 years ago Sturgeon River Pottery’s Steve Andrews and Al Gruler Sr. Of Grulers Farm Supply forged a unique business partnership. Unbeknownst to most, we have worked in cooperation for the last 30 years to source very high quality, Michigan-milled bird seeds at good prices to supply the people of the Petoskey area. Two proud family businesses that combined to serve the people of Petoskey for a combined 161 years (Grulers for much longer than us.) Today Grulers closed their doors for good in order to retire; selling their property to organizations that will do good for Petoskey for many more generations. We learned much from the Gruler family over the years and can only hope that our family business can succeed for 121 years as theirs did. We wish Al Jr. and Toni fairs winds in their travels, big hunts, and plentiful fish!!
