A friend of mine found this sweet boy and can't find his owners. He has a microchip but the numbers have been disconnected. He was found on Shattalon rd between Yadkinville rd and Reynolda rd. I will be cross posting. If you may know who this little guy belongs to please let me know

Great tips to avoid being bitten

Some helpful tips and information:

Never pet a dog without the owner's permission or if the owner isn't present (such as through a fence), even if they appear friendly.

If a dog is sick or injured, use caution. Even a beloved and friendly family pet may bite if they're not feeling well.

Leave dogs alone while they are sleeping or eating.

Allow family pets to have time to themselves, make sure they have a spot they can go to if they need a break. Watch your dog for cues they wish to be left alone.

If your dog gets into a scuffle with another dog, do not put your hands in between the two. Use loud noises, water, or a solid object (placed in between the dogs) for separation.

Make sure your children understand all of this information and do not leave young children alone with a dog for even a moment.

If a bite does occur, North Carolina State Law requires that it be reported. This is for everyone's protection.

A couple of weeks ago we got the privilege to witness baby chicks hatch!! This mama was an amazing mama!! Unfortunately a snake got to mama but the babies are doing well and daddy is doing an amazing job raising his babies. So let’s add baby chicks to the list of animals we take care of!!!
