Huge thanks to all of our generous donors. Without your support we would not be able to continue saving the homeless animals of the RGV.

We’ve been hit with lots of vet bills lately, including for our dogs and cats going on transport. We also have two dogs that are being treated for heartworms. Plus 6 spay/neuter surgeries pending.. not including our TNR cats.

Hi good morning to everyone we will be sending out an email with some good news shortly, but unfortunately there is something that I recently found out that I feel the need to address. I had a client recently send me 800 dollars accidentally this client had an unpaid bill of 1400.00. Client advised me the money was sent on accident and I was nice enough to offer to refund them half at the time client sent it. Client decided to try and dispute with their bank to which I told them to go ahead. I recently was made aware client told people that I kept their 800 dollars and that money is owed to them. This is a lie and I am addressing this publicly because I do not know how far this lie has gotten as client has several friends who are also clients. I am attaching proof of times we billed this client and how I tried to work with them multiple times but I feel my kindness was taken advantage of after these accusations. I was even threatened to be published on local media for keeping money that was clearly owed. We mean no harm by this post we are just trying to clear our name

We have discovered black mold in our Trenton Center. It is dangerous for both people and pets. We must move 135 animals out of this facility by 7 PM TUESDAY, MAY 24th.

Other ways to help:

Adoption: We currently have NO ADOPTION FEE at our Trenton Center and a Name Your Own adoption fee at our Andrews Center. **many of our pets are altered and for those that aren't there is still a $25 refundable surgery voucher fee.

Purchase crates: We will need crates to house pets in different areas of the shelter. If you have a large crate to donate (wire or plastic), you can drop them off at either facility.

We are open every day from 11-7.
