The one thing I like about teaching horse lessons is that I can show the student not only how to ride but make sure that they understand "why it happens this way." I don't want to be like another instructor where the student gets taught a new way of moving/riding the horse, than moves on to the next thing. I want to make sure that the student knows how to master this "skill" and than move on, if t
he student is having a hard time and needs to spend more time on the "skill" than I will take my time showing it done another way until the student understands. I believe in having a good riding foundation with the horse and see's why it is being done this way, understanding how a horse thinks, how to read the horse, it makes you a better rider. Not just for yourself but as well as the horse, easier on the horse.

Breaking News!
Baby came early! As of now im closed for lessons until mid August. I'll make another announcement as time gets closer to confirm if lessons are good to schedule in August or have to wait until September.
So far, Baby is doing well and slowly meeting the farm animals.
I greatly appreciate everyone's understanding during our recovery process. Can't wait for everyone to meet Baby 😊

It's been so hot to do lessons, along with my pregnancy almost coming to an end (crossing fingers).
My husband makes horseshoe art, and I'm making keepsake items. If anyone is interested in ordering art items or has welding work needing (he can travel to fix welding items), let me know! I'm also selling horse hair charms/keychains. Would you like a piece of Dulce, Dixie, even Groot? Message me :)
We will be offering these services all summer long :)

The first day of the heatwave, all the dogs took a nap in the shade. Ritz wanted to join them as well.

The other day Mr Ritz got his feet trimmed. Having him lay on his back keeps him calmer and he went to sleep while he had his pedicure.

This Saturday is Beach Day with Dixie! She loves to roll in the sand as well. Come out to fiesta island to come swim with dixie or hangout with her on the beach! Message me if your coming!

Last weeks obstacle course, the goal was Tiffany had to get Dixie spin the pole around in a circle. As you can see, Dixie did not want to touch the scary pole. As soon as it moved, it made Dixie nervous. This is why i like to make sure students can handle their horse in any situation along with having a good seat in the saddle for unexpected jumps/scoots horses are capable of doing.

Congratulations to Tiffany and Dixie. They completed the obstacle course in norco tonight. Even though Dixie didn't want to do some of the courses, Tiffany did great keeping her calm and focused at each course. It's not always about getting first place. It's about learning how to work with your horse and build that trust friendship. I'm still proud of you, Tiffany, to go out there and try something new!

Tiffany will be competing with Dixie Thursday the 25th! Anyone who wants to come and watch the event, see Tiffany and Dixie, you're welcome to come!! Starts at 6pm! In norco, at Ingalls Arena.
Get to see why horseback riding lessons are important, and this is a goal to work towards! I would love to get more students out in these fun events!

I won't be able to exercise the horses like normal when July comes! (LESSONS WILL BE ON HOLD END OF JULY TO BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER. Unless something changes, I'll keep everyone updated)
I'm looking for a Few Students 14yrs or older who would like to start learning how to exercise horses during the months of July and August while I recover from my baby. It's volunteer work. If anyone is interested, message me. I can explain more what I'm looking for and make sure we can start training on how to exercise the horses or even care for them.

Groot was in no rush, as usual. Daniel and Amy were able to participate in Norco Hangman event Friday. They did great! We love bringing Groot to compete in this event each year. Keep your eyes out for him Next year!2025!

If you like to come start summer off with swimming with dixie at the beach, May 11th! Please bring your own food and supplies for the beach. Also, message me if you're coming so I can keep my eye out for you. I can also send you the location we will be. It's going to be the weekend, so crossing fingers we can get there early in the morning to get a spot. Norco/ corona clients, you're welcome to come too!!

Its a soaking kind of day lately. Paco loves to sit in Swallow water to get a drink water and cool off from the heat.
