We will be holding classes and private lessons this week and next.

We will not be holding classes or private lessons the week of Christmas or New Years. Enjoy the holidays!

11/22/2024

Just a reminder we will not be holding classes or private lessons next week. Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

Congratulations to Sue and Joey. They earned their NW1 title Saturday with a 1st place overall.

Weather dealt the NW2 trial some challenges Friday. I'm proud of everyone who braved the elements and supported their dogs the best they could.

So proud of my Nose Work students today at the NW1 trial and ORT hosted by Pink Biscuit K9s. Whether you passed or not you got to spend the day with and bring the best dog home. Some never get the opportunity to step across that start line. Use the experience as a training opportunity for the next time out.
ORT : Chip, Spin and Percy, Crazy 2/3 (missed birch but finished strong on anise and clove). Dublin NW1 made a great showing and we know what to work on moving forward.

I got to handle Spin for the ORT. I have to say I was more nervous handling someone else's dog than my own, LOL.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered and officiated. Love your dedication and appreciation for the sport.

It's been a long week with local wildfires throwing smoke and ash our way. Roads have been closed or congested with evacuees and first responders. We are on the edge of two evacuation zones and all classes and lessons have been affected. We hope to get back to our regular program as soon as it is safe for dogs and handlers to resume.

Our prayers go out to those who lost homes, businesses and jobs. Our beautiful mountains are ravaged, wildlife killed and displaced. Many thanks to those who volunteered to transport and house large and small animals and humans. Our community is amazing.
