Our clinics will be closed Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth, a commemoration of the day a Union General informed the people of Texas that the Civil War was over and enslaved people in Texas had earned their freedom. That day came two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863.

Today we’re celebrating the freedom every living person should have — from bo***ge, persecution, and assumptions about who they can or cannot become. And we’re celebrating every black veterinarian and technician in our country for adding immeasurable value to our field.
