💙 Help Us Support Noah’s Recovery 💙
We recently shared an update on Noah, who spent two days hospitalized due to a severe and preventable medical crisis. While we’re relieved that his breathing has stabilized and he’s been able to come off oxygen, he is still recovering and will need ongoing care including medical appointments (today was the first of many), medications including inhalers and proper nutrition for his compulsive grooming due to extremely severe allergy conditions, as he heals.
As Noah regains strength, consistent, high-quality food is essential to his recovery. We are asking our wonderful community to help by donating food to support him during this critical time. Every can or bag helps ensure Noah gets the nourishment he needs while we focus our resources on his medical care.
If you’re able to donate food or send items from our wishlist, it would mean the world to Noah—and to us. Your support allows us to keep fighting for him and reminds us that he is not alone.

We wanted to share an update on Noah. After two days in the hospital, he was finally able to be discharged. His breathing has stabilized with medications and treatments, allowing him to come off oxygen. While this is encouraging news, he is not out of the woods yet.

Our focus now is keeping him stable and strong enough to undergo surgery. Noah has a massive hairball caused by excessive self-licking, and it is too large to break down on its own. Unfortunately, he is not yet stable enough for surgery, so we are carefully managing his condition while we work toward that next step.

It breaks our hearts to know that all of this was so easily preventable. Had Noah remained on his inexpensive allergy and steroid medications, this situation likely would not have occurred. We would have gladly helped had we been made aware of what was happening. Sadly, despite multiple attempts, we have still received no response from his adopter.

We are devastated by how much Noah has suffered and all that he continues to endure. We remain fully committed to providing him with the care he needs and will not give up on him as we help him through this nightmare.

Today has been an incredibly heartbreaking day. Our precious boy Noah, who was adopted several years ago, was surrendered back to the shelter. Tragically, he is now in critical condition and has been admitted to the hospital.

When Noah was adopted, his asthma and allergy conditions were stable and well managed. All of his medical needs were clearly explained, along with how to properly care for him. He left us healthy and thriving, and we made it very clear that we were always here to help if support was ever needed. Sadly, no one reached out.

As soon as we learned of his surrender, we acted immediately—picking him up and rushing him to urgent care. Within hours, Noah was hospitalized, placed on oxygen, and fighting for his life.

He is now suffering the devastating effects of months without proper treatment: painful wounds from relentless itching due to lack of medication, significant hair loss, severe matting, and a large mass of fur in his stomach caused by constant licking. This mass will require surgery to remove.

We don’t know why Noah was left untreated. We don’t know why no one asked for help. But we do know this: we will do everything in our power to give him the chance he deserves.

These are the harsh realities of rescue—but we will always show up. We can only continue this work with your support. We are hopeful Noah will pull through.

Right now, he has only us. We are his family, and we will never abandon him, no matter how difficult the road ahead may be.

There’s no better feeling than watching a cat who lost their home, had no home, was sick, injured or worse yet abused, turn the corner and open their hearts to a new beginning.

Sometimes it takes months or even years, but when that day finally comes and they are adopted into a new loving family, there is no better feeling in the world. Rescue isn’t easy, it’s heartbreaking most days. But your donations are what make it all possible for each of these faces to know the comfort & love to be part of a family.

Is there anything better then bringing home a new baby? Well we think so…..it’s when you bring home 3 baby kittens!!! We’re over the moon for Wendigo, Sasquatch & Mothman who won the hearts of their new family and ALL 3 got a very special holiday gift. Happy forever our precious little ones.
