With slower adoptions everywhere these days at the Pennsylvania SPCA a lot of time and effort goes into creating all kinds of enrichment for the dogs. Volunteers do kennel work, take pups offsite to parks, do training and we also do co-walks with the dogs which enables them to exercise both their bodies and their minds.
TOMMY and ROCKY are two healthy, energetic senior boys who have each been with us a long while. Getting them out for co-walking is so good for them and as you can see they love it. If you’re looking for a great youngish senior pup both these boys are sure wanting forever homes. Come and meet them at the shelter any day 12 to 6.
Who wore these bows better ?
Long term dogs make your day brighter but it hurts your heart knowing they need a home . Consider a long timer . These babies are not broken they just need a little extra love #pspca #thedogsthatdidntgetadopted #rescuedogs
3 years in the shelter. Smokey is ready and waiting for his person(s)! @pspca
Just what the doctor ordered.
Just what the doctor ordered. Rx: Baby. To lower blood pressure, soothe anxiety, or just plain make you happy (and Baby too)! Please come meet our Baby, waiting for a nice quiet home (adults and no cats, please). Baby may be able to live with another dog, and she certainly will fill your days with love. www.pspca.org/adoptdogs
MARONNA has been at the shelter for 17 months !
She’s still up for any fun and one of her favorite things is playing with her purple ball.
We know there’s a home out there perfect for her with an adult family who will play with her and enjoy her antics and where she will be an only pet !
Please share for her - maybe her family will see and come and meet her
She’s waiting at the Pennsylvania SPCA at 350 Erie Ave in Philadelphia.
