Sweet Ruby has been enjoying her life in her furrever home with her mama and her fur sister, but they've fallen on some hard times recently and could use your help! At just 3 years old, Ruby has been diagnosed with heart failure. Her doctors say that with the right treatment, she could continue to love comfortably for many years.

UPDATE: Snack has been adopted!! Thank you for sharing!

URGENT TIMESTAMPED DOG IN NEED OF FOSTER:

Our focus is cats, but today Snack the dog needs your help. Snack is at ACCT Philly and has a willing rescue to take him in, but NEEDS a foster before Friday, November 15 at 10am.

Snack actually came to ACCT back in June and was adopted, but one of our GSR volunteers found Snack dumped and outside as a stray in their backyard in October. Snack is a playful and friendly guy who is deserving of a home. He’s timestamped due Saloni Dalal space. Can you help foster or know someone who can? Reach out to us or who found Snack.

The Philly area has had no rain for 35 days!! Don't forget that just like plants, cats need water too, and many Philly strays aren't so lucky to have an easy-to-access water bowl like our cats at home. If you are feeding a stray cat or colony, make sure that you are putting out water. Consider putting a bowl outside your home for your local strays, wildlife, and passerby pups to enjoy a fresh drink!

AVAILABLE ADOPTABLES: Mickey and Mouse! 🐭🐱

Mickey and Mouse are two adorable kit-teens (6 months old), currently available for adoption at Fairmount Pet Shoppe . These ladies are friends by chance and sisters by choice - they met met at their foster home and became bonded buds. Mouse is the smaller sister, and Mickey has white on her nose. They're cuddly and playful 💕

These ladies are a bit shy for our next Kitten Saturday on 9/28 at Le Cat Cafe but you can come by and meet them at Fairmount Pet Shoppe anytime!

FOSTER NEEDED! Ice Cream the cat is a sweetheart who was sadly abandoned by his family and left with the neighbors. The neighbors have been caring for him, but Ice Cream needs placement in a foster (or forever!) home by October 5th! Ice Cream is a handsome grey and white guy who would love to lounge around your home.

🍏 ADOPTABLE BART 🍏 Bart is urgently in need of an adopter, and this sweetie has no brat in him! Bart’s amazing foster is entering law school and we need to find Bart a forever home. He is an absolute gem. Check out to see many videos and posts about Bart!

Some basics about Bart:
- he loves being cuddly & close
- he’s a smarty pants that loves to learn tricks (he knows sit) and walking on a leash indoors
- he doesn’t mind vet visits, cat rides, and nail trims!
- he’s FIV+ and has an autoimmune condition called plasma cell pododermatitis (P*P or pillow paw) and has recovered from his recent flare. has a whole series on Bart’s care for his conditions!
- Bart would do best in a home without dogs and most likely without other cats
