🚨Intake hold alert🚨
Unfortunately, we are announcing that we will be on an intake hold for the next two weeks. We are at capacity, our foster homes are full, and our funds are running low. We urgently ask that anyone interested in donating, fostering, or volunteering to please follow the links below.
We urgently are seeking new fosters to help us clear some space in our rescue in anticipation of a busy winter season. It is crucial that we act now and prepare to save as many lives as we can.
Volunteering is also a meaningful way to help us save more lives. Our volunteer program allows you to spend time with cats and learn all about their behaviors.
‼️LOST CAT‼️
Please share and keep a lookout for Oscar who was adopted from our rescue!! His family misses him dearly and we want them to be reunited as soon as possible!

Green Street Rescue is a network of volunteers dedicated to rescuing stray and homeless in Philadelphia.
Our mission:
• rescue stray & homeless cats
• manage feral populations with TNRM (trap, neuter, release, manage) practices
• find foster & furrrrever homes for friendly cats and place unfriendly cats with barns
As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we function entirely on donations and the generosity of our volunteers. If you are interested in contributing to our mission, we welcome your donations here.
GSR also operates Le Cat Cafe, a Parisian style cat cafe in the Brewerytown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Visit us for self-serve coffee, a relaxing atmosphere and meet 12 of our adoptable cats.
