🐾KEEP PETS INDOORS
Don’t bring your pets outside during the fireworks! Loud pops and booms could easily startle your pet and cause them to run away.

🐾PROVIDE A QUIET PLACE
Prepare a place for your pet such as a quiet room, pet carrier, or crate to help them feel secure.

🐾GIVE THEM DISTRACTIONS: TOYS, TREATS, SOOTHING MUSIC
Treat toys such as kongs filled with their favorite food may help keep their minds busy and distract them from the fireworks.

🐾MICROCHIP & ID YOUR PETS
Your pets should always have proper identification tags, with up-to-date contact information. Microchipping is also strongly recommended and make sure that information us up-to-date too!

🐾WALK YOUR DOG EARLIER IN THE DAY
Some pets may be too frightened to go out once the fireworks are popping and this will be a good way to tire them out so that they can rest better later.

Here at Pooch la vie our groomers are compassionate and go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels secure.
Sometimes that means getting on the floor and giving them belly rubs or letting them sniff out the shop so they know they are safe.
Grooming dogs with anxiety takes time and the groom may not look perfect because behavior will always alter the overall look. We focus on safety over vanity until your dog becomes comfortable with the grooming process. We appreciate those customers that understand Thank you 🩷🐾

Heatwave Tips to keep your pets safe 🙌🏾
-Make water accessible
-Keep pets indoors with air conditioning or fans
-Limit Exercise
-Walk pets early in the morning or late in the evening
-Know the signs of Heatstroke: excessive raspy panting, lethargic, weakness, collapse or seizures
-Seek medical attention right away if your pet exhibits any of the symptoms listed above 👆🏽
-Avoid super short haircuts as this can expose your pet to sunburn 🥵🥵🥵
