ACV loves supporting rescues and the ones they care for. For this month's ACV rescue highlight, we have Mickey from 💚 Have room in your heart and home for this kitty?

Mickey is the furry grandpa you’ve always been missing in your life. He’s a senior (12 is the new 6), and just like other seniors, Mickey has a lot of opinions. Snuggles? Yes, please. Doors? Never closed. Diets? The worst. He will let you know with a stern chirp, meow or quack when he needs attention or personal space.

His age does not stop him from being an excellent wand chaser, and jumping on the bed to lay beside you. Mickey will make sure your feet stay warm at night, and he provides the best wake-up head butts.

Mickey was abandoned by his previous owners after years of living in a home in South Philly. True to his grandpa nature, he can get a bit grouchy when his personal space isn’t respected, which is why he would do best in a home without young kids or other cats.

Mickey is an amazing cat who deserves to live his golden years like a king. We hope you will give him a chance to show that with age comes wisdom and purrs.

Volume up to hear the happiest mama purring away while caring for her kittens! This mama is in foster care with our very own Dr. Shafer. 💚 Her name is Dumpling and she came in from outside as a stray and had her babies not 24 hours later. She has been adjusting wonderfully to both motherhood and living in a warm, safe, loving home.
