Help! We are running low on winter shelter supplies. Please consider making a donation towards helping us provide more winter shelters to West Philly’s community cats. Our Amazon Wishlist link is below. We’re also in need of more coolers if you have any laying around the house you no longer need. The minimum dimension on all sides (length, width, height) should be at least 13 inches; anything smaller than that is unlikely to fit a cat.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a stock of winter shelters built up right now because we give them to community members as fast as we make them. But we will do whatever we can to accommodate someone, so if you are in need of a shelter, please email [email protected].

Meet the cutest trio in town: Snap, Crackle, and Poppy! These three kittens were plucked from a garden bed when they were about 5 weeks old. They were clearly all accustomed to being cozy indoors and it’s a true mystery how someone could’ve possibly decided to put them outside! They adjusted quickly to their foster home, greeting their foster humans with the biggest purrs every chance they got. These are three of the happiest, easiest kittens you’ll ever get a chance to meet! They’ve formed a semi-pro soccer team, specializing in glitter pompoms, and are considering going pro. They love to wrestle together and chase one another, which mostly distracts them from getting into too much trouble around the house. Once they’ve played their little hearts out, these three all love to snuggle up to sleep in their favorite places. Snap loves to lay in the space between your legs, Crackle will sleep like a baby in your arms, and Poppy insists on being directly on top of whoever the warmest human is. All three of them doze off while still purring. They would love to be adopted together but would do fine adopted individually as long as they have a playmate in their new home that will help them expend their kitten energy.

Happy New Year from Little Girl Sugar! 🎆

Sugar was left behind when her original family moved away. Because she was an indoor cat and unable to survive on her own, she became very thin and hungry. Her rescuers immediately scooped her up and provided lots of food & TLC.

Sugar enjoys playing with her toys and likes to be picked up and held (evidenced by her loud purr!). She is also a big fan of food and has been known to find the big container of treats and help herself to them. Did we mention she’s very smart? 😸 Sugar prefers a forever home where she can be your one and only cat.

Layla Larchwood is a true gem: gorgeous, independent and vibrantly spirited, yet sweetly captivating when she chooses to be! This beautiful floof flourishes on socializing with her humans, but prefers to be the only feline in the spotlight. Layla loves to seek out affection on her own terms and values being given space when she needs to unwind. Simon Cross is a sweet, playful boy around a year old who was found outside and walked right into his foster’s back door a few days later. Smart boy! His foster’s report that he has adapted so well that it’s hard to believe he ever lived outside. Simon loves other cats, is very chatty and even plays fetch. He would likely do well with dogs and children with a little time to adjust. This purrfect tabby boy is ready for his forever home! [email protected]

Bean & Winnie Hazel are a super cute bonded pair of kittens who are ready for adoption!

Bean is a stunningly beautiful calico kitten, who loves snuggling and receiving pets when the mood strikes her. At other times, she's content to simply be near you. When her brother Winnie starts to play, she morphs into a playful kitten, giving chase, wrestling and playing with toys. Winnie is also a happy, playful kitten who has boundless energy until he’s ready to slow down and requests some cuddles. Their curious nature, soft fur and little faces will surely melt your heart! Usually, we post funny anecdotes about her Royal Highness Bonnie the Beauty. Well, today it’s a bit different. As you all may know, Bonnie has been in foster care quite a long time now (almost a year and a half!), and when a new person showed up at her door with an empty carrier, she thought she was getting adopted! She immediately crawled into the empty carrier, all set to begin her new chapter. Unfortunately, another foster cat was getting adopted that day, so she was asked to kindly leave the carrier. Even though Bonnie was disappointed, she had to maintain her sassy status and took her sweet time getting out. 😹
