Moose Edgewood is a 4 year old cat with FIV+, and a total gentleman! He's super chill, friendly and sweet, but not clingy, though he loves a good brushing session and hanging out with his favorite people. Moose is basically the perfect low-maintenance cat for someone who wants a loyal buddy. He's currently living with other cats and we think he'd be awesome with kids too!

Looking for a special foster for two very special cats! 💞

Opal Ludlow is as sweet as can be. She can be a bit shy at first, but loves scratches once you win over her trust. She and Blackberry are bonded and while Blackberry isn't so sure of people, she is sure that Opal is her BFF! Opal was recently adopted, but returned after she was not able to adjust to being the only cat in a home. We now know that she needs her bestie Blackberry in order to adjust. A foster is needed to help these two sweet friends gain more trust in people so that they can flourish in forever homes! If you can foster this sweet duo, please email [email protected].

Hemingway Vodges is the ultimate senior cat - boasting a remarkably soft coat and an irrepressibly happy-go-lucky personality, he's always up for a good cuddle. He's a bit of a show-off, but hey, when you can jump from low to high with ease, you've got to flaunt it! Hemingway’s also a bit chatty, but he's just trying to keep you company and tell you what you missed while you were at work. This sleek black house panther is a bit of a cat snob, so he needs a feline sibling who's just as refined and laid back as he is. Houdini Handsome is ready for adoption, but don't expect him to do any magic tricks right away. This guy needs a little time to get used to his new digs, and a patient adopter who understands he’s worth the wait. Houdini's a solo act, so no more cats in the home please, but he's a real charmer and you’ll love watching him blossom into the silly, playful cat that he is. My servants brought this monstrosity into my kingdom without my consent. I am outraged! Of course, I had to put on my inspector ears and check it out thoroughly before they even set it up. Okay, so the dimensions fit my svelte body quite nicely, and oh… there’s a little cubby I can pop out of and scare the other felines (& servants). And it is quite soft. OKAY. I guess I’ll approve this. But next time, the servants better get my consent ahead of time, or they’ll find a “surprise” in their shoe. 😼

Go Birds! 🦅

Make a $10 donation benefiting Project MEOW and you have the chance of winning $125! We are running a block pool for the Super Bowl through noon on Sunday 2/9. Here is how you can participate (& don’t forget to invite your friends & family!):

Each square is a $10 donation. At the end of each quarter, the person whose name appears in the winning block will receive $125 (assuming all 100 blocks have been sold)! Participants can comment on which numbers they would like, or you can simply say ‘random’, and we’ll choose a number for you. You can make your donation via venmo - and, please DM a screenshot of your donation to our volunteer in charge (Niki Lemanski-Allman on FB and on IG). The finalized bracket will be distributed to all participants by 6pm.

How The Winner is Selected:

At the end of each quarter, the person whose block corresponds with the intersection of the 2nd digit of each team’s score wins $125! For example, if the Eagles are leading with a 14–7 score at the end of the first half, the owner of the square at column 4, row 7 will win $125!

FRIDAY FANG-DANGO FUNDRAISER: Fixing Hazel & Her Rotten Teeth 😿🦷

Hazel Halla is a semi-feral street cat from West Philadelphia and we'll level with you: she's a little bit of a Certified Hot Mess right now. She's like the Seven Dwarves of Street Cats wrapped up in one feline: Sneezy, Snorty, Wheezy, Snotty, Grumpy, Smelly, and Cracked Teeth. On the bright side, Hazel is a beautiful, sassy tortie with yellow eyes you could lose yourself in. We pulled her off the street and got her some vet help; at least one of her canines is cracked and she's going to lose some other teeth, too. She’s in obvious pain and needs immediate help with her ouchie teeth. We're working on banishing that upper respiratory tract infection as well.

No one wants to be the smelly, snorty cat with bad teeth. Please help us free Hazel from her painful dental issues and her terrible cold by making a donation in honor of that time you had such a bad cold that you were pretty sure you sneezed out some brain tissue. (We've all been there. Bless you!) We are grateful for any amount, and please know every penny will go towards Hazel becoming her best, healthy self. The smelly cats of West Philadelphia and the decidedly not-smelly volunteers of Project MEOW thank you in advance! 🧡

Before & After: Mystery Salford

Mystery was found on the street in West Philadelphia after his owners moved away and left him behind. He was a senior cat who was extremely thin and in poor health, but very sweet and so grateful for the help. Thanks to the generous donations from our wonderful supporters like you, we were able to get him the care he needed to be ready for a second chance at a real forever home!

Now named Ziggy, he is thriving and living his best life with his new family. Just look at his amazing glow up! He’s also made friends with his new feline sibling and they grow closer every day. His forever family reports that “Ziggy is a squeaky, chirpy guy who loves to play fetch and drink out of our sinks. He’s been a hilarious and snuggly addition to our family.”

Wendy Willows may have a half-sized tail, but she has a full-sized personality! She is a petite calico gal with a bit of a daredevil spirit and part-time lap warmer. It may take a little time for Wendy to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s all in. While she is a very chatty girl, she hasn’t told us what happened to her tail. That’s okay, Wendy.. we think it suits you!

Wendy has become an unofficial big sister to another PM foster, Bella Brown. With patience and a few treats, Bella is ready to make new friends, both of the human and feline variety. Bella has learned that napping on soft surfaces is her new favorite, so if you are looking for a kitty to binge Netflix with, Bella is your gal.

These girls are thick as thieves and where you find one, the other will not be far behind. Wendy and Bella can often be found curled up together in an adorable cuddle puddle. If you are looking to add two very sweet and slightly quirky cats to your family, Wendy and Bella are the ones for you!
