As of Friday, August 5, 2022, Caring for Cats Hospital has closed its doors. We are grateful that we got to know you and your cats over the years. Please give them a respectful kiss on the head from us.

To ensure your pet receives top medical care, here is what you need to know:

If your pet is due for a routine wellness visit or vaccinations, please contact the veterinary hospitals below
If your pet has special needs, chronic illness, is due for a prescription refill, or needs emergency care, we are pleased to refer you to several outstanding nearby hospitals that have the capacity and ability to see you sooner.

We'd like to give a warm welcome to Dr. Nicole Romanzi, Caring for Cats newest veterinarian. 🎉
Dr. Romanzi was born and raised in Brookyln, NY. As a child, she had a pet rabbit that was the impetus for her decision to become a veterinarian, only helped by the sweet yellow lab that was her constant companion as she grew up. She fell in love with cats when her best friend and roommate brought home a rescue kitten named Roxas from the practice she worked in, which proceeded to become her constant crafting partner and shadow. A few years later, another rescue cat named Sora joined the family and became the family lovebug. In 2021, Dr. Romanzi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. She spent the next year in practice with everything from the smallest reptiles to the largest dogs before making the change to feline-only practice, when she joined Caring for Cats. During her free time, Dr. Romanzi enjoys crafts such as sewing, crochet, and cross stitch, as well as working on her car. She recently adopted a pair of elderly rats as well!

Dear Caring for Cats Family,

The team at Caring for Cats would like to wish Dr. Mara E. Guth heartfelt best wishes as she moves on to her next adventure. If you’d like to make one last appointment with Dr. Guth, her final day seeing pet patients will be July 28th. Dr. Guth has been a dedicated caretaker to all your pets for many years and she will be deeply missed!

Happy 4th of July Weekend!
We are open normal hours today until 1pm. We will be closed on July 4th and return to the hospital on Tuesday, July 5th at 9am.

If you would like your cat or cats featured in the hospital, please drop off a framed photo that can be hung on the wall. Looking forward to seeing all of their purrrfect faces!

**All photos dropped off must be in nail friendly hangable frames to be hung on the wall in the waiting room. Size of photos and frames do not matter! Please drop photos off during regular business hours.**

We will be in the hospital for phone calls and medication/food pickups on Saturday. We will be closed on Sunday and Memorial Day and reopening for our normal hours on Tuesday.

Spotlight on Pumpkin this gorgeous Saturday morning! Pumpkin has been coming to Caring for Cats since October 2020. She is a beautiful and opinionate 15 year old torti! She will definitely give you that torti-tude 😼 This October she is turning 16 years old! We hope Pumpkin enjoys the weekend soaking up the sun 😽❤️

Meet Harper, Oliver, Phoebe, and Willow! These four precious gems belong to our practice manager, Lauren. Phoebe and Willow are sisters that Lauren adopted in 2016. She later adopted Oliver in 2018. Harper was the newest of the bunch in, you guessed it, 2019 following Bryce Harper's sign with the Phillies. ⚾️ What a cute crew! 😻🤗💞
