If you need medication or health certificate for travel, please make an appointment immediately. Hospital closed: 11/28 - 11/29 (Thanksgiving); Only open for half the day on 12/24 & 12/31 and closed completely for business 12/25 & 1/1/2025. Call early for appointments or medications.

Today 2 pups were reunited with their family because of chip technology. The owner was surprised to find out that they had escaped. Two Good Samaritans saw them running free, caught them and then brought them to Girard Veterinary Clinic. Once here we were able to read the one chipped and contact their owner.

Thank you to everyone who helped these dogs make it home safely!

Microchips greatly increase the chances that pets will be reunited with their families if they are lost. Today is the perfect day to check your pets or to call to have one put in.
