Welcome to Dirty Side Retrievers. Here at Dirty Side Retrievers we have a passion for dogs and helping them achieve their full potential. We have over 25 years of experience. Dirty Side Retrievers offers a wide variety of training services for all ages and different breeds of dogs.
Obedience Program: This program includes commands such as; sit, stay, here, heel, kennel, quiet, etc. This is approximately a 5-6 week program.
Gun Dog Program: This program is for owners who desire a hunting companion. In this program, all dogs are introduced to birds, training dummies, dog stands, and decoys following the obedience phase of training. After obedience training we move on to forced training that teaches the retrievers to pick up the bird on command and bring it back to your hand. After your dog has completed this stage, we move on to the marking phase of training. Dogs that complete this phase of training, will be conditioned to gun fire and able to mark and retrieve a fallen bird on land or water.
