Upcoming litter with deposits being accepted.

We have a planned breeding that should be taking place soon between Fenloch Otter "River" and Prairiewind Levi "Levi". This litter should produce dogs that are on the taller end of the scale - plenty of leg with medium bone, in the 30-36lb range and 16-17.5 inch at the shoulder height. These dogs will be able to comfortably handle large ducks and small geese (snow, lesser Canadas) in the field and in water in southern climates, or at HRC Hunt Tests. They will also have the "go" to excel in agility or dock diving, shoot to retrieve contests, the nose for antler shed hunting / contests, barn hunt, scent work, bed bug or drug/ contraband detection, and of course, upland bird hunting, including in heavily wooded areas for grouse and woodcock.

Sire: Prairiewind Levi
OFA hips: Excellent
OFA elbows: Normal
OFA patellas: Normal
OFA CAER eyes: Normal
Dentition: Normal
Genetic Health: PRA-cd, AMS, EIC, PFK Clear testing by Wisdom
AKC DNA profile on record
Color Genetics: carries liver, red/gold, spotted/parti genes

Levi is a medium build Black and Tan with white markings dog that weighs 32lbs working weight and is 16 1/2 to 17 inches at the shoulder. He has medium to low/high speed, is a very affectionate dog, and is very birdy. He is also a very watery dog and does not shy away from heavy cover.

Dam: Fenloch Otter "River"
OFA hips: Good
OFA elbows: Normal
OFA patellas: Normal
OFA CAER eyes: Normal
Dentition: Normal
Genetic Health: PRA-cd, AMS, EIC, FN Clear by Pawprint testing.
Color Genetics: carries spotted/parti gene.

River is from our Fenloch Acacia x Ridge Runner Ruffian at Fenloch litter. She is a medium b***d, tall, liver colored girl. This will be her first litter. She is a lover of water, birds, and people. Activity level wise she is in the medium to low-high range. She weighs 28lbs and is 16 1/2 to 17 inches tall (estimate).

The following is provided with each pup produced:
> AKC registration pre-paid and completed in new owners name. No paperwork or money needed to send in by the new owner. You will receive AKC papers directly from AKC via email and regular mail.

>AKC ReUnite microchip registration pre-paid and completed in new owners name. You will receive email and paperwork from ReUnite to finish inputing information such as a back up emergency number, your vet clinic, etc...no fees or payment needed for life unless you move or change numbers.
As an additional safety feature, I am listed as an emergency backup as well for life.

> worming done at 3, 6, and again just prior to leaving or 9 wks whichever applies.

> 1st set of vaccinations given and examination by vet at 7 1/2 to 8 wks. We do the 5-way core vaccines.

> OFA CAER eye exam and results sent to OFA for certification and entry to OFA database all paid and completed. Certificate printed and included in puppy packet.

>puppy packet includes: Health record including feeding instructions. OFA CAER eye certificate. Additional shot record from vet clinic including labels from vaccines. High quality leather collar color coded to puppy ID color. Scented tennis balls (pheasant) for training and dried pheasant wings. Extra large sample of Purina Pro Plan Sport 30/20 chicken and rice dog food for the pup's trip home and acclimation period.

>Pups have been introduced to:
Born and raised in the house. Weaned directly to kibble (Purina Pro Plan Sport 30/20) and trained to use litter box with pine pellets in tray starting at 4 1/2 -5 wks old. They will spend the majority of the time in the house, getting used to loud and sudden noises produced by people in the house, tv, vacuum cleaner, and other appliances, plus get lots of group and one on one attention and snuggles, plus nail clipping, toys, "rug time" excursions.

>Depending on time of year and weather conditions- pups will start spending a couple of hours outside in large playpen on grass at 5 wks old. By 6 wks they will go on excursions into wooded areas, tall grass, cut corn/soybean fields, and water. If in the winter, depending on temps and amount of snow, they will get short excursions on bare grass areas or areas with only a smaller depths of snow cover starting at 6 wks old. These are daily excursions unless frigid weather. They will have a wide variety of toys and interactive objects to play with, climb on/under/over, some that make sound and hang over head to promote looking "up" and to promote cleanliness, as well as plenty of safe objects to carry and chew on.

>By 7 wks they are spending the majority of the day - from 9-10am to 8pm in the summer -and between the temperatures of 65-85 degrees in shaded and partial sunny areas- outside. That includes regular daily excursions outside of the play yard. During that time they have access to toys, enrichment objects, chew toys, as well as different textured footing-grass, dirt, concrete, plastic (inside dog house), wood, gravel, etc...and all of the sights and smells that go with that. They are exposed to outdoor equipment such as- cars, trucks, semi's , tractors, lawn mowers, trimmers, chain saws, 4 wheelers, and low flying planes and even Huey helicopters as we live near the frequently traveled training exercise path for military and close to airport.
They are exposed to other dogs of variety of age / size/ color, visitors- including young kids, toddlers to under 10 yrs old. They will be introduced to riding in cars for short duration trips to vet- 20-25 minutes one way, as well as long trips of up to 3 hrs one way - to eye vet- by 8 wks of age.

> Any puppy still left unsold by 9 wks of age will continue excursions, be up to date on worming protocol of every 3 wks up to 12 wks of age- then they will start on heart worm preventative monthly that covers regular worms as well. They will continue with excursions- longer and through heavier cover, as well as more retrieving sessions, including finding scented tennis balls in cover and sight drills. They will also spend some time in kennel block learning how to use doggie doors and will spend time with other dogs in same pen learning how to "be a dog". All shots will be up to date as well and continue until placement is made.

>>> Transportation via ground transporters Puppies needing veterinary health certificates to fly or use ground transporter - owner will be charged $50 for extra vet visit/ trip/appointment charge.
