My Luna has earned her UKC champion title and is 2 wins away from her grand champion title. We are so proud of her.
She has gone into heat, and we are waiting until she is ready and she will be bred.
Luna is now a UKC champion. She earned her champion title on May 13, 2023. She has also won 3 of the 5 legs towards her grand champion title. She competed in all 5 shows at the Trail Ridge Kennel club in Colorado. We are super proud of this beautiful poodle.
We have all her ofa set up to be completed in June to get her CHIC number.
I also want to say how thankful we are to everyone who has helped Luna and I to get here.
Here is Luna's recent wins. We competed March 25th and 26th in the UKC show hosted by Southwest Kennel Club. We competed as a team and won our class and best female every show. The last show on Sunday Luna took her class, best female, best of breed, and group 3. She has all her competition wins and just needs a few more points and she will have her Ukc champion title.
We plan on going to flagstaff in July to compete in an Akc show there.

We just got done competing in Akc this past weekend(March 4-6 and 9-13). We brought home best of winners and reserve winners. We are proud of the progress our Luna has made in the Akc world. We plan to continue showing her in both Akc and Ukc. I just love this poodle, she is beautiful in every way(personality, attitude and looks). She makes me laugh everyday and I couldn't ask for a better poodle. I know she will pass that onto her puppies.
Luna just came back from a grooming competition with our groomer, Madeline. She is also wearing her new collar from Celtic K9
It is the rose gold collection and looks good against her black hair.
Luna is getting ready for our Akc debut in the March shows. She will be showing March 4,5 and 6th. Then again March 9,10,11,12 and 13. All at the Az state fair grounds.

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $1,500 USD
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average minimal cost $1500 and up). Also a male(average minimal cost $1500 and up) or semen (average $1000 and up). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $750 per dog. Raise and provide daily care and feeding for 2 years.
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a litter for me and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you also have to pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care. Possibly tube or bottle feed puppies every 2-3 hours if the mom is low on milk the first couple weeks.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You may also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & a C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed. Pups vets exams ($250 and up depending on how many puppies are in the litter)
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.

Luna went to her first Ukc show on 12/18/2022. It was hosted by Desert Southwest Shetland Sheepdog Association. She brought home 5 winning ribbons. We are so proud of her. She will be heading out again on 12/31/2022 for her second show.

We are still looking to find Mr. Green a home. He is 17 weeks and 25 pounds. He is a sweet boy and does well for my groomer. He is leash trained, crate trained and does well in public.
You can see a picture of the parents. Both are health and Ofa tested. The stud is titled in Akc, he is a grand champion. He is also titled outside the USA. His pet only price is greatly reduced to find his home.
Luna just got bathed and her hair is banded. Have to keep her hair spotlight ready.
She has her eyes on being a champion within a year. She is a year old now. She's has her embark testing done, she is clear. Next will be her Ofa to CHIC requirements.
