Lena worked her obedience pattern at the Cal-Ranch store today. This store is very busy and has a dog grooming salon located in the back of the store. This means lots of dogs walking the aisles. Great distraction for our youngster Lena.😉

Today was group duration down day...Lena, the 7 months old German Shepherd girl, has the hardest time. It's incredibly boring for her and Cooper, the black Doodle, is her friend and is next to her...she tried twice to get him to play. Cooper knows better though and stayed in the down command on his cot.😉

Had an awesome time working with our prescott trainer Heike & owner Eden.
We focused on a mix of pack walking, obedience, distraction work, and long-line training. It was amazing to see the dogs progressing and staying engaged! So very proud of our clients that showed up with their reactive dogs and working hard to maintain and challenge their training we put in place. ✨
🐾A big shoutout to AZ Mastiff Rescue for joining us with Cherry and Carrie—both did great working outside of the kennel and getting exposure to new environments. Love seeing these rescue pups build confidence and skills that will help them in their future homes!Can’t wait for the next one!

Cooper is watching TV with me. No, we aren't being lazy.😁 Cooper has tried to jump into the TV on more than one occasion at his home and needs to learn that he isn't the one choosing the channel.
Impulse control through obedience is the key. Cooper is now cool with lounging on the couch and NOT attacking the tv.😉
