We always say how much we enjoy teaching our Rogue Community class. This wonderful group of people and their pups did not disappoint. We greatly enjoyed watching the progress of teams from week to week. You all did amazing!
Thank you Lori for sharing the video.
We have a few spots available in classes starting on Saturday June 25th.
Rogue Manners at noon.
Rogue Beginning 2 (Puppy 2) at 1:15pm (1 spot left).
This short video is amazing! Those of you who know us, know we always focus first on behavior, helping dogs feel more comfortable and building their confidence. This is Gus, showing us the trick they have been working on over the five weeks of his Rogue Manners class. It was incredible to see his confidence grow from week to week. Class is not just for manners, it’s about building relationship, helping them feel safe and building their confidence.

We have a couple spots available in our Saturday Canine Good Citizen preparation class. It starts this Saturday at 3:45pm and is a six week course. Contact us for more information.
Each team also works on a trick (or five 😆), for those of you interested in AKC Trick Dog titles.
Cooperative Canine Care

This is Elsa working up to having her ears cleaned and medicated. We are using a chin rest as the consent behavior. As long as Elsa is resting her chin on the towel we can continue. By giving our dogs the choice to say no (lifting her chin, moving away, etc.) they often choose to opt in more. It is very empowering for our dogs, making veterinary and grooming experiences more positive.
We have an awesome new class starting!!!
Our Cooperative Canine level 1 is starting Wednesday December 11 at 5pm. This class focusing on helping our pups to say yes please to grooming and veterinary care. By teaching them they have the option to opt out of husbandry behaviors, they are empowered to say yes more often. This helps create fear free care for our furried friends.
The first series will be a four week class. There will be no class December 25 or January 1. We will be offering additional days and times soon! If you are interested contact us for more details.

Open Training announcements!
We are adding a couple additional times to OT, Monday October 8th and 22nd at 2:30pm. This is in addition to our weekly Wednesday session at 4:30. If you are interested in OT sessions and neither of these times work for you, please comment, message or email us your availability.
Also we are now offering an OT package, six sessions for $180. The package is good for four months, so you can still pick the sessions that work for your schedule.
Isn’t the video of Moose doing “Bang” the cutest? What have you been working on with your pups? Share pics or video!

Puppy call!!! Four and a half week old Great Dane pups showing how powerful it can be. They were asleep prior to be called and their response is immediate. This is the beginning stage of an amazing recall. We continue to work on this in our puppy class. Nice work Barlow Rock Danes! Let’s see your pups response to the puppy call or recall cue. #barlowrockdanes
